Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said if his children walked the streets of Phoenix they might look awfully suspicious to police. His wife, Columba, is from Mexico.
Harvard professor Robert Putnam told the same crowd of city officials from across the country at the Denver Convention Center on Saturday that his grandchildren might likewise draw suspicions. His daughter married a Latino man, he said.

Where’s the “RINO ALERT”?
You have to figure Jeb is soliciting Latino primary voters into the Republican party for him to have a chance. He may get the NE votes but would need a showing in the south by way of the Latino votes, of which there could be plenty.
The entire Bush family is as wrong as they can possibly be on the subject of illegal immigration.
If we turn a blind eye to laws that protect America’s health, welfare, and our future generations - then we will slowly descend into anarchy.
This subject alone disqualifies the Bush family from being true conservatives. I hope Jeb Bush never becomes our nation’s President.
That could work against him although the folks out in Los Angeles put one in as mayor. They're paying through the nose for that piece of IGNANCE.
That wouldn't happen if current immigration laws had been/would be enforced.
Where do illegals hide while crossing the desert before jumping the border? The answer is obvious...behind the Bushes.
I couldn’t stand Bush the elder. And I feel like I was duped by Bush the younger. Now I know I was right in not liking the Bushes. They’re all Rockefeller republicans who have killed the republican party.
A third party is the only answer because these elitists are never going to come back to conservatism.
I am half Mexican and am all for this. Odd, huh.
The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Robert Sarver, opposes AZ’s new immigration laws. Arizona’s Governor, Jan Brewer, released the following statement in response to Sarver’s criticism of the new law:
“What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people were sneaking into games without paying?
What if they had a good idea who the gate-crashers are, but the ushers and security personnel were not allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees couldn’t be ejected.
Furthermore, what if Suns’ ownership was expected to provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and drink?
And what if, on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or injured, the Suns had to provide free medical care and shelter?”
- Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer
I love this lady.
If it came down to Jeb Bush vs BO in 2012, I’d need to think hard about my vote.
“...criminalizing illegal immigrants”? That seems like an oxymoronic statement on Jeb’s part since, to most people, something that is illegal is already criminal.
Ping!
Perhaps W isn't the dumb one.
Go ahead and call them the way you see them. I dont particularly agree with the Bush position. I just prefer to keep the debate at a higher level and I am not an elistist RINO snob either. Name calling is what the libs do so well.
Jeb? There’s the door. Don’t let it bump your ass on the way out. You will never be president if you think your “little brown ones” (GHW Bush’s comment about his grandchildren) should be allowed to illegally immigrate, get ongoing amnesty, get endless welfare, education, health care and the right to vote here as non citizens and without assimilating. You are slitting your own throat unless you convert your RINO family to your true party affiliation, dimwit.
Did I just misspell democrat again, dang!
Thank you for posting about Columba’s smuggling. Not many people seem to remember that. It says a lot about her integrity or lack thereof.
And just what do you think you can “tell,” son?
As the saying goes “you will know them by their fruit” the PDS sufferers and the Bushies are very similar in one way or the other......glad that he/she exposed themselves!
Just ANOTHER indication that the entire Bush Klan is wedded to globalism, one worldism, pandering to Mexico, and oscualting the rears of oil sheiks.
Three peas in a pod - George W., George H and Jeb.
