President Obama could be crippling his own reelection effort by making a deal with Republicans to extend all of the Bush-era tax cuts, Democratic strategists and liberal groups said Monday.

A two-year extension of tax rates ushered in by President George W. Bush nearly a decade ago, would ensure a resumption of today’s fiery debate in 2012, when Obama is expected to reapply for his job, strategists in both parties said.

So much for cutting debt spending and paygo and all that. The GOP has no intention of cutting spending it seems.

“Dumber than a box of rocks” is inadequate to describe Obama. I’m sure that his strategy for re-election is to be able to contrast himself with his Republican challenger by opposing “Tax Cuts for the Rich” as a re-election strategy. He has achieved this by having the Bush tax rates expire just after the election. He simply doesn’t understand that this positions him as an ineffective leader who will have accomplished nothing in four years of his presidency.

He never intended to run.

Next stop, Secretary-General of the United Nations.

And his ineligibility for that position is irrelevant, and anyone who says it is, is a racist.

When he campaigns for that position he'll be a Kenyan and therefore eligible.

I pray that the Secret Service keeps up their good work and protects B0 to maximum of their abilities and then some.

I want to see B0 go out upright, as the grossly incompetent perfect storm of Affirmative Action, quotas, the race-norming of scholastic grades etc...

...as opposed to not upright.

Those dirty Godless backstabber Stalinist lefties are capable of anything now that the rational thinking members of the electorate have B0 dialed in as a total goof.

He hates the work, and so does his wife. In 2 years he can embark on an Adore Me tour with an indefinite run. He can criticize other presidents, make trouble, run up a tab to the moon, and have personal security detail free of charge. Hollywood awaits.
Why should he run for a second term?

I think they are delusional.

It also is angering the left wing of the Democratic Party, which already has a long list of complaints about Obama.

“President Obama has shown a complete refusal to fight Republicans throughout his presidency even when the public is on his side — and millions of his former supporters are now growing disappointed and infuriated by this refusal to fight,” said Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

The PCCC on Monday afternoon circulated quotes from 2008 Obama campaign staffers who expressed disillusionment with the president for agreeing to extend tax cuts for the wealthy amid signs that the White House and Republicans were edging closer to a deal.

“Obama is demobilizing the troops and demoralizing the public right before he seeks reelection,” Green said.

Thanks Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!

There will be crossover voting, anyway, for the Pubbie candidate, irrespective of whom that is; there won't be such large numbers of somewhat conservative older FDR Demwits at the polls in 2012, because of Obamacare's cuts to Medicare, but a whole lot of below-average fence-straddlers feel they were sold a bill of goods (which they weren't, they got exactly what they should have expected), and the influence of media has passed its peak. Those who didn't necessarily support Zero but thought he was a good man have mostly passed the point of plausible denial that what his critics said of him was true. Over the next year or so almost all the rest will.

If Julian Assange doesn't hang, Zero will be blamed. And guess what? He isn't going to. He'll face the rape charges in Sweden, maybe get some prison time (although with Muzzies having taken over parts of Sweden, rape is as commonplace as going to the grocery store), but he'll never be brought to trial for espionage. I don't think he'll live another three to five years anyway.

You have about as much of a chance finding a happy liberal as you would finding a Jewish Pope.
