LGBT: Kansas, you're not in Kansas Anymore

"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." Those were the troubled words of Dorothy Gale as she found herself in a foreign world in the movie The Wizard of Oz. Many have used that sentence over the years for different reasons but in general it highlights a feeling of being somewhere that is so alien to our sense of normality that we cannot fully articulate where we are, only where we are not. As a lifelong Kansan I have felt that my state, as well as its location within the heartland, is a special place where traditional American values tend to be unbending to the onslaught of the political left. When I hear liberals scream words like, "gun toter" and "bible clinger" as they fail to advance their agenda in the heartland I have to say it puts a spring in my step. However, today as the sun shines down on the plains of Kansas, a liberal storm of great consequence is brewing.

The Though Police are coming. This newly designated protected class can start proceedings against average citizens simply if they feel they are "about to be discriminated against".

Even if the homosexuals gain the special protections that they seek, their inability to control their outrageous and promiscuous behaviors will be their ultimate demise. I’ve no doubt that this is not the first time that this social experiment has taken place in history, and yet, there is no evidence that where homosexual acceptance was tried that it ever remained. Our culture supports equality, but wait until they see what that means to homosexuals. Back into the closet with all of you!

Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire. In Romans, they diseased themselves to death. Hitler used them to gain power, but ended up using them for target practice.
IF there's ever a social meltdown in the U.S., this group is going to be in big trouble. Karma can be a real bitch sometimes.

Coming to a city near you... (if we don't wake up.)

No more "I don't care what two people do in private" tripe. That language marks you as an enemy of America.

Everyone here should read the comments after the linked article. The one poster who related the story of a friend’s “gay” son returning to his parents home and bringing the whole homosexual culture with him is stomach turning.

Anita Bryant was right, but she was forced to back down, wasn’t she? Where is she now? Her own marriage failed too. A talented but sad soul

They can do a lot of horrific damage in that 'short' time span: disseminating disease, pro-homo lawsuits, heartache to families. Thank God it's not longer, but I have a feeling the follow up to AIDS is yet to be unleashed by the Creator.

I agree that Anita was right and the media stampede against her was perhaps the most brutal in history. The orange growers jumped ship on her too.

She wasn’t perfect but at least she had the guts to call a spade a spade.

Anita Bryant was right, but she was forced to back down, wasn’t she?

Here's a ministry she heads. The website contains her story:

http://www.anitabmi.org/3.html

Her outspoken opposition to a national "homosexual advancement" initiative in the '70's was probably key to its failure to pass. But it cost her, of course. The absolute viciousness of the militant homo-Nazis knows no depth. From the uncivil pie in her face (for which the assaulter paid no real penalty) to the vile, concentrated demonization from the homo-left, her career was eventually ruined. But she succeeded, in my estimate, although she spent herself in the process.

We all can expect the same if we stand up to the sodomites who, make no mistake about it, want your absolute allegiance to their reprobate cause, by force if necessary. You will be ruined, assaulted, your property will be defaced and damaged, and you will be hounded, just as Anita was. This is why so many who despise homosexuality are, nevertheless, reluctant to voice their opposition to it. It costs a lot to resist evil. But, ironically, it costs even more later to not resist.

"It costs a lot to resist evil.

Matt 6:19-21 = "“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

They are not protected from being kicked out of their homes

Since you don’t give specifics I don’t know them. I will tell the readers here that friends of mine with a gay son who wasn’t making it out in the world let him move home. Rules were discussed and agreed to. They came home early one weekend to find their home populated with gay men in various acts throughout their home (they owned it paid for it). They requested that as they had not invited them they needed to go. They didn’t and they were verbally abusive. The cop’s could not make any one go. They had to have their own child evicted because he and his LBGT group said it was their right to perform their lifestyle without any standards being placed on them from anyone. This is what they believe and preach. They have been “subjugated for so long, they aren’t going in the closet.” They will do and say whatever they want when they want.

I would say “Smith and Wesson” to get the fdrq’s out of the house, but I believe going from room to room and setting off bug foggers would work better!

Pepper spray would work just fine. Right in the eyes. And if one "accidentally" trips into my fist on his way staggering out... oh, well.

If Kansas is only up to LGBT then you're still living in the medieval past.

Here in California we have LGBTQII:

Lezbo Gaybite BiBye Trannie Queer Intersex and Inquiring

Please keep with the program.
