Obama is playing right into their campaign strategy. They couldn’t have orchestrated it better. Thank God He knew what He was doing. That 3 am phone call bit will have a LOT of meaning today.

My question is, how old will Hillary be in 2012? Is she young enough to matter?

I don’t think it will go down in history, because mostly liberals write the history that Americans have vaguely heard about. And liberals are likely to omit the occurrence of today entirely. Now they will write for an eternity about Reagan’s confused state of mind in the first debate with Mondale, but they won’t mention this at all. And I don’t think the American people will mind, as they have a soft spot still for “their bill.”

Obama was never reallt challenged his entire life. He had everything handed to him and was never questioned. Always praised and never criticized.While running for POTUS, he was handed the office like he was handed everything else by both the news media and the GOP by putting up a RINO who gave Obama the office.
Now faced with harsh work, he basically just gave up.
The compare Hitler with Obama is unfair....To Hitler. AT least Hitler was faced with failure and overcame it{Ok, he did it by crawling over the bodies of enemies and Jews} But at least he would never walk away from a podium{he would have had the reported shot}

BO was awful happy to hand the Presidential podium over to President Clinton. I guess BO has finally worked out the terms of his pardon by President Billary.

MY thoughts exactly, even though, uncharacteristically I completely MISSED this story, and have been filled in on it from everyone from my wife, the investment adviser, to a guy I chat with who works at the local Starbucks.
YES, this is definitely Bubba acting as surrogate, creating an “impression” that maybe he’d be a good behind-the-scener
when Hillary runs for (and they hope wins) the Presidency.
Obama passing the reins, in effect, to Clinton is one of the weirdest and most pathetic things this Administration has yet done. And regardless of what Clinton’s content actually was for a whole variety of issues at this ‘proxy presser’, the obvious intent was for the Press to be treated to a refreshing change of pace from the robotic Obama. On one level, it also calls to mind the great scene from Midnight Cowboy when Joe Buck thinks he’s being hired as a stud by an overweight Upper East Side bleached-blonde played by Sylvia Miles, who is actually a hooker thinking Joe Buck is a lonely rube soliciting HER services. Obama thinks he’s getting something for this and from this, and so does Clinton:
ultimately they’re both playing their last desperate cards from a dwindling deck of Jokers.
