The left sees history's fist coming. Again.
American Thinker ^ | December 13, 2010 | James Lewis

Posted on 12/13/2010 12:56:02 AM PST by neverdem

Want to know why the Democrats in Congress are mumbling "f*** the president"?  Want to know why the Cancun mobsters are demanding world power for yesterday's climate fascism?

This is Dunkirk, folks.  It's the Battles of Midway and Gettysburg rolled into one.  This is the watershed moment in history.

This is where the Evil Empire gets its comeuppance.

The next few years may be the most historic ones in our lives.

The left is at the very peak of its power since the Evil Empire fell in 1991, with Obama occupying the White House today, surrounded by his commissars.  The left is still pushing the climate scam because it's the biggest totalitarian power-grab in history, and they can't let go of it -- even if nobody believes Algore anymore.  Trillions of dollars are teetering on the edge, like the Chicago Climate Exchange, and leftists are all rushing in to keep it from screaming down into the steep canyon.  This is right out of a Road Runner cartoon.

But the biggest threat the left sees is Governor Sarah Palin.  And it's not just the American left -- the Euro-lefties hate Governor Palin in the same way they still go foaming at the mouth over Maggie Thatcher.  The U.N. corruptocrats fear her already.  Right now, the worldwide left is feeling a lot more scared than we think.

Here's why:

(a) Palin is Reaganesque beyond any politician we have seen in two decades.  When the Soviet Empire was defeated, it was by three Western conviction leaders: Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and John Paul II.

(b) Palin is charismatic far beyond Obama's sputtering appeal.  You can tell Obama's not happy whenever he makes that prune face, like he's biting into a lemon.  Obama looks sour whenever he is not being cheered and adored by the masses.  He needs that adulation to prop up his fragile ego.  Obama can't hide his sour face when things turn bad.

In the Kremlin today, you can bet they are video-screening Obama's prune face frame by frame to see how Our Hero is doing.  And Putin is laughing at the photos.  Putin is a Russian nationalist, and he doesn't want Obama to be the new Lenin.  If anybody is going to be the new Lenin, Putin wants it to be Putin.

(c) Sarah Palin is a Reagan-style constitutionalist.  The hard left understands that, even though they pretend not to.  They know perfectly well who they are and what they are.  The hard left consists of wannabe totalitarians.  You can tell by the fear they show at the prospect of losing power.

George Washington welcomed his chance to leave the presidency and go home, but these people live for the dream of power.  They are obsessed with it.  That's why the Democrats finally showed their rage and anger against Obama in public.  You think only one Congress critter mumbled "f*** the president" to himself?  They've all been saying it over and over again.  They've been waking up at night, screaming it out loud.  Watch all the little cartoon thought bubbles coming from the Democrats in D.C. and you see one giant "f*** the president!"  And Obama knows it.

That's why we need a constitutionalist president again -- because the lust for power is a common human failure.  Obama is not the first.  He is the average power-hungry pol as demonstrated by the last six thousand years of history.  Political parasites have been the bane of human existence since Egypt and Sumer.

We need to see our leaders walking away from power over and over again.  Harry Truman went home and was glad to leave the snake pit of Washington, D.C. behind.  Jimmy Carter didn't want to give up power.  And Obama is going to keep popping up like a bad Jimmy puppet for decades to come.

To the left, we are seeing a perfect replay of the historic crash of the Soviet Union.  They've seen this movie before.

Remember that the Soviet Empire crumbled of its own inner contradictions.  All the West did was show its character and determination.

Remember also that Reagan, John Paul, and Maggie Thatcher were hit by assassination attempts.  Reagan and John Paul were badly wounded and lived with the pain for the rest of their lives.  Thatcher had a lucky escape.  John Paul's assassination plot was traced directly to the KGB; Reagan's and Thatcher's would-be assassins were also radical leftists.

In the end, the Soviet Empire turned out to be 91 percent Potemkin Village and 9 percent real.  But it took real character and courage to blow that house down.

Reagan, Thatcher, and John Paul saw some very bad times, but they didn't give up.

That's the lesson for all conservatives.

Learn it or lose it.  Learn from your own history.

The other side is feeling desperate.  All their power amounts to a false front.

This is the time for conservatives to go for victory.

I will raise $2 million dollars for Governor Sarah Palin from my computer hutch. As a disabled veteran, I cringe at the direction this country is moving in at present. Government control of all facets of our lives and a vast dependency on welfare is not what our nation’s founders had in mind. Everyone should read the Federalist Papers and then they will realize how far off track we are at present. Not just because of the Democrats but also the mushy moderate Rockefeller Republican RINOs.

Given it is 7 degrees where I am right now and what these twisted liberals have legislated thus far ‘feels’ like the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge. These liberals pretending to tact to the ‘center’ is a strong delusion. But the ‘center’ has always been delusion-able, they are in constant need of massaging their egos of self importance.

Just like the collapse of the Greek junta 1967 - 1974

Where the Junta was hijacked by the military police...a small subset of the military apparatus.

And just like the 0bambi Chicago regime...they don't have the bandwidth for control.

The junta, which ruled from April 1967 through July 1974, arrested a total of about 87,000 people (of whom 2,800 were tortured), and assassinated 88 persons.

Sigh. I fear that Palin is to the Right what Obama was to the Left in 2007 and 2008. We can ill afford another empty suit no matter what the person's political leanings. For all you Palin fans, I'm not saying she's an empty suit, so don't get your knickers in a twist. What I am saying is she has yet to give me any idea of her policy proposals. Granted, it's still very early. Too early, in fact, for me to decide who I'll vote for in the 2012 California primary. If any of you know what her policy proposals are, please educate me.

I am sorry, but the Dunkirk link is not correct. After all five years later the British and Free French were walking through the streets of Berlin as the city's occupying powers.

I personally much prefer the Battle of Bastogne.

In very simplistic terms the forces of good were totally surrounded and cut off by the forces of evil and everything hung on one man's courage. Because he had courage and didn't fold when his surrender was demanded the forces of good held on and six months they were walking through the streets of Berlin as the city's conquerors. What would our world look like if Gen McAuliffe hadn't said "Nuts!"?

Educating the public about this will go a long way towards destroying the left and what they stand for:

Rep. James Traficant, Jr. (Ohio) addressing the House.

excerpt...

“It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; Declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. H. J. R. 192, 73rd. Congress in session June 5, 1933 - Joint Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official capacities of all United States Government Offices, Officers and Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal Government exists today in name only.

The receivers of the United States Bankruptcy are the International Bankers, via the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. All United States Offices, Officials, and Departments are now operating within a de facto status in name only under Emergency War Powers. With the Constitutional Republican form of Government now dissolved, the receivers of the Bankruptcy have adopted a new form of government for the United States. This new form of government is known as a Democracy, being an established Socialist/Communist order under a new governor for America. This act was instituted and established by transferring and/or placing the Office of the Secretary of Treasury to that of the Governor of the International Monetary Fund. Public Law 94-564, page 8, Section H. R. 13955 reads in part: “The U.S. Secretary of Treasury receives no compensation for representing the United States?”

Gold and silver were such a powerful Money during the founding of the United States of America, that the founding fathers declared that only gold and silver coins can be money in America. Since gold and silver coinage were heavy and inconvenient for a lot of transactions, they were stored in banks and a claim check was issued as a money substitute. People traded their coupons as money, or “currency”. Currency is not money, but a money substitute. Redeemable currency must promise to pay a dollar equivalent in gold or silver money. Federal Reserve Notes (FRN’s) made no such promises, and are not money. A Federal Reserve Note is a debt obligation of the federal United States government, not money. The federal United States government and the U.S. Congress were not and have never been authorized by the Constitution for the United States of America to issue currency of any kind, but only lawful money, - gold and silver coin.

It is essential that we comprehend the distinction between real money, and paper money substitute. One cannot get rich by accumulating money substitutes, one can only get deeper in debt. We the People no longer have any money. Most Americans have not been paid any money for a very long time, perhaps not in their entire life. Now do you comprehend why you feel broke? Now, do you understand why you are “bankrupt,” along with the rest of the country?

Federal Reserve Notes (FRN’s) are unsigned checks written on a closed account. FRN’s are an inflatable paper system designed to create debt through inflation (devaluation of currency). Whenever there is an increase of the supply of a money substitute in the economy without a corresponding increase in the gold and silver backing, inflation occurs.

Inflation is an invisible form of taxation that irresponsible governments inflict on their citizens. The Federal Reserve Bank who controls the supply and movement of FRN’s has everybody fooled. They have access to an unlimited supply of FRN’s, paying only for the printing costs of what they need. FRN’s are nothing more than promissory notes for U.S. Treasury securities (T-Bills) - a promise to pay the debt to the Federal Reserve Bank.

There is a fundamental difference between paying and discharging a debt. To pay a debt, you must pay with value or substance (i.e. gold, silver, barter or a commodity). With FRN’s, you can only discharge a debt. You cannot pay a debt with a debt currency system. You cannot service a debt with a currency that has no backing in value or substance. No contract in Common Law is valid unless it involves an exchange of good and valuable consideration. Unpayable debt transfers power and control to the sovereign power structure that has no interest in money, law, equity or justice because they have so much wealth already.

Their lust is for power and control. Since the inception of central banking, they have controlled the fates of nations.

The Federal Reserve System, is based on the Canon law and the principles of sovereignty protected in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In fact, the international bankers used a “Canon Law Trust” as their model, adding stock and naming it a “Joint Stock Trust”. The U.S. Congress had passed a law making it illegal for any legal “person” to duplicate a “Joint Stock Trust” in 1873. The Federal Reserve Act was legislated post-facto (1870), although post-facto laws are strictly forbidden by the Constitution. (1:9:3)

The Federal Reserve System is a sovereign power structure separate and distinct from the federal United States government. The Federal Reserve is a maritime lender, and/or maritime insurance underwriter to the federal United States operating exclusively under Admiralty/Maritime law. The lender underwriter bears the risks, and the Maritime law compelling specific performance in paying the interest, or premiums are the same.

Assets of the debtor can also be hypothecated (to pledge something as a security without taking possession of it) as security by the lender or underwriter. The Federal Reserve Act stipulated that the interest on the debt was to be paid in gold. There was no stipulation in the Federal Reserve Act for ever paying the principal.”

JAmes Lewis is 100% on the money. And it is mo time to support the compromise cross the aisle crap from the likes of Boehner et al either in Congress.

And when conservative politiciams are attacked and reviled, we must give as good as we get and then some.

Sarah Palin is now driving the left and progressive Republicans into raving , frothing at the mouth lunacy. She has earned our support for the long haul. Give it to her with unfettered generosity.

As to this:

And Obama is going to keep popping up like a bad Jimmy puppet for decades to come. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I doubt that. Obama is the most riviled and detested president in the history of the United States, simply because of his unAmerican policies and penchant for extremism , thuggishness, executive order control, nationalizing businesses, dividing America. If he pops up much in the future, it will only be because he has grasped the rare ocassion in which he will even feel safe. Those times will be rare indeed, because of the hatred from his own party.

Liberal Fascism must be defeated, and they must be sent into the dust bin of history, or the compost pile, if you must.I would prefer to see them so much in fear that they will never dare to raise their fascist heads, ever again.

I agree that the left fears Sarah aplin, but no less than the Establishment, which includes people like Eric Cantor, John Boehner and the Washington permanent punditocracy.

The Establishment fears and hates Palin because she does not need them, in the same way that Andrew Jackson and Ronald Reagan did not need them. Jackson and Reagan were populists but not the pro-government socialist variety (like Huey Long) who wanted to redistribute wealth. Both Jackson and Reagan saw the central government as the problem and they sought to pare it back and return power to the states and to the people.

Like Jackson and Reagan, Palin’s appeal is to the common people whom the elites in Washington and New York do not understand and in fact despise. Her popularity does not depend on elite approval, and the elites hold her in the highest contempt as they did Jackson and Reagan. For a peek into the Establishment groupthink on Reagan, see the excerpt from a taped conversation of President Nixon and Henry Kissinger on Reagan in 1971 (when he was in his second term as Governor of California):

“President Nixon: What’s your evaluation of Reagan after meeting him several times now.

Kissinger: Well, I think he’s a—actually I think he’s a pretty decent guy.

President Nixon: Oh, decent, no question, but his brains

Kissinger: Well, his brains, are negligible. I—

President Nixon: He’s really pretty shallow, Henry.

Kissinger: He’s shallow. He’s got no...he’s an actor. He—When he gets a line he does it very well. He said, “Hell, people are remembered not for what they do, but for what they say. Can’t you find a few good lines?” [Chuckles.] That’s really an actor’s approach to foreign policy—to substantive....

President Nixon: I’ve said a lot of good things, too, you know damn well.

Kissinger: Well, that too.”

Later in the 24-minute-long discussion, the two discussed the possibility of Reagan running for president:

“President Nixon: Can you think though, Henry, can you think, though, that Reagan with certain forces running in the direction could be sitting right here?

Kissinger: Inconceivable.”

So much for Kissinger’s powers of prognostication. As they were finishing up—after discussing other matters—Nixon slammed Reagan again:

“President Nixon: Back to Reagan though. It shows you how a man of limited mental capacity simply doesn’t know what the _______ is going on in the foreign area. He’s got to know that on defense—doesn’t he know these battles we fight and fight and fight? G-——n it, Henry, we’ve been at—

Kissinger: And I told him—he said, “Why don’t you fire the bureaucracy?” I said, “Because there are only so many battles we can fight. We take on the bureaucracy now, they’re going to leak us to death. Name me one thing that we have done that the bureaucracy made us do.”

President Nixon: The bureaucracy has had nothing to do with anything.

Kissinger: No, no. They’ve made our lives harder. They’ve driven us crazy. But that doesn’t affect him.”

Shallow, negligible brains, limited mental capacity? These are the cuss words the Establishment has applied to Jackson, Reagan and now to Palin. And it stems mainly from the fact that she will not kiss their ring and that she does not need to. She is building an electoral coalition of committed conservatives such as those who pushed Goldwater to the fore fused with working class voters who admire her for non ideological, often intangible, reasons such as her courage, her decency, her ability to connect with them as an average person and her firecracker hot charisma.

That electoral coalition is poised to propel her into the White House at a relatively young age and to secure her place not only in history but on the American political scene for perhaps the next three decades.

Hat tip to Al.B for the excellent research in locating the Kissinger Nixon dialogue on Reagan.

I agree.

I lived in Reagan's CA when he was Gov. I well remember the arguments in my household (when my older sister would come home for the weekend from college) with my dad over Reagan.

My first exposure to the mind-altering hypnotism of the college profs! DAD WAS RIGHT and now my sister agrees!

In order just to defeat the left is for us to just stand up for what we believe in and what is right.

” This is Dunkirk, folks. It’s the Battles of Midway and Gettysburg rolled into one. This is the watershed moment in history. This is where the Evil Empire gets its comeuppance. “

F*** hyperbole.

No resolution or action from Western nations’ voters or leaders, unless Muslim Arabs with bombs shoved up their asses suicide sh!t-bomb a big bunch of civilized folk. And that’ll just be reaction, not resolute action.

As Michael Tanner writes in today’s New York Post, we’re just now “Kicking the Medicare can — again”, and we’ll kick the Social Security can down the road the same way, just like we kick the illegal-immigration-enforcement can, and just like the Eurpos kick their unaffordable-entitlements-paid-to-unassimilated-Muslim-immigrants-wanting-to-kill-us can.

It's not a bad thing to have doubts and wonder about her weaknesses. It's even better to do some basic research into her attitudes about issues.

If she runs, she will have to make a case for her being president and that will include policy papers and lots of specifics. If she runs and makes the case well enough, she will win. If she doesn't make the case well, she'll lose. It's that simple.

There's a long way to go in the battle to take our country back. If nothing else, she's doing a great job in galvanizing conservatives to do just that. For that and taking the daily crap from the insane leftists in the democrat/media complex, she deserve tremendous credit.

It's called "Tough Love."

When you have a grown man asking to be spoon-fed that which anyone with a spine and a sense of decency would just get for themselves, you don't help the pantywaist by coddling and cooing over his crap-filled diapers. No...

Instead, you scream as though in an apoplectic rage, "WHY ARE YOU CRAPPING YOURSELF IN PUBLIC??!! You're a GROWN MAN! HAVE YOU NO SHAME??!!

That cures them, once and for all. See?

While Palin has many admirable qualities and is a great cheer leader, here are some very important items to consider if you are considering supporting her for president. They all have a major impact on our sovereignty, security, culture, and economy.

Paline has endorsed 6 RINOS:
McCain, Ayotte, Norton, Handel, Fiorina , and Bondi over conservatives.

Palin is on record for....
L.O.S.T. Treaty
Carbon Credits
Windfall profits Tax
Amnesty - (Although Palin denies being for amnesty, she endorses a process of 'registration' and a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. [There are ~40 million illegal aliens in the US.])

"Q: Let me clear something up: Sen. McCain has said he supports caps on carbon emissions. Sen. Obama has said he supports clean coal technology, which I don’t believe you’ve always supported. Do you support capping carbon emissions?
PALIN: I do. I do."

PALIN: I was the first governor to form a climate change sub-cabinet to start dealing with the impacts. We’ve got to reduce emissions. John McCain is right there with an “all of the above” approach to deal with climate change impacts. As we rely more on other countries that don’t care as much about the climate as we do, we’re allowing them to produce and to emit and even pollute more than America would ever stand for. It’s all the more reason that we have an “all of the above” approach, tapping into alternative sources of energy and conserving fuel, conserving our petroleum products and our hydrocarbons so that we can clean up this planet.

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 238 establishes Alaska's Climate Change Sub-Cabinet.

LOST Treaty

UNIVISION: As governor, how do you deal with them[illegal aliens]? Do you think they all should be deported?
PALIN: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant ... that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.
UNIVISION: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
PALIN:I do ...

O'REILLY: So no amnesty.
PALIN: …we can trust you. No, no amnesty.
O'REILLY: But what do you do with these folks? ...
PALIN: Do we make them register with the federal government? Yes, we do.
