Meanwhile here on the earthly realm, I’m going to pull my girl out of Young Marines if this passes, although the USMC leadership itself is clearly on the good side of this. But they don’t make the rules. I will lose all interest in grooming her for a military career, for which she seems pretty well suited.

A gent told me a while back that he would pull his son out of a CAP cadet program if something like this happened, but I don't know how serious he was. I could see a number of parents find this DADT repeal to be the last straw as far as Young Marines, CAP or Army Guard Explorer programs.
