That was my first response as well. I haven't seen anyone running around dressed like Michelle. Maybe they do on the left coasts, but certainly not anywhere else.

I read the article to be sure it was her mother. At least, the article stated that her mother joined them on stage, and there can't be two older black women in DC that poorly dressed on that stage at the same time.

The odd part is that most black women of that age, the ones I know, would have been dressed to the nines for such an occasion. Those ladies can dress!
