SO much to say about this:
I would ask this....are heterosexual soldiers or marines required to shower, or share barracks with those who are naturally attracted to them, i.e. women? Of course not. In fact, it is not allowed because it is assumed that these men would be focused more on getting with the women than doing their jobs. But somehow, it’s okay ...in a voluntary military...to require men to share quarters with those who are attracted to men. Somehow, heterosexual men are stereotyped as unable to control themselves when seeing a naked woman....but we are to believe that homosexual men are above all that...they all know how to behave themselves in these situations. IN the meantime, we have Private Manning who traitorously uploads military secrets because he is upset about a love gone bad...and no one hears about it. BUt then....Obama wants to reduce the military anyway, so threats of people leaving don’t bother him in the least. Gives more money to his social programs

Noone can convince me that Gates didn't stay on for this very reason, he and Zer0 deserve each other.
You might want to sit down for this one (if you're not already). Here is WA State, they have been replacing old National Guard armories with newer facilities. It's bad enough that these facilities are shared with civilian agencies. Worst still, in at least one new armory I know of, there is a single locker room for both genders. I am serious. Evil is afoot in America.
PS-I hate ‘working groups’. They are nothing but a vehicle to give cover to and pretend to validate what ‘community organizers’ already want anyway.

During Viet Nam many gays admitted they were gay to avoid being drafted. Now it will be straight people who will object and rightfully so. Will the courts rule that a man must live and shower with another man who wants him sexually? Not saying this will always be the case but you know it will come up every now and then. No pun intended.

So can we assume there will not be separate facilities for men and women then? I don’t see any difference. (... and frankly I’d rather be watched in the shower by a hetero woman than some homo fag.)
Everything is backwards. Even our much-honored military has gone PC - at the top, anyway - and now we're willingly allowing openly homosexual people to enlist and we know that will be a disaster on many fronts, not the least of which will be a drop in enlistments. Pray for our country.
The military is the one thing that government can actually do well and now they have to screw it up.

Gates, just one more thing on the list causing me to despise George Bush. He’s just as responsible as anyone in doing this to the military. Did he not ask Gates his oppinion before firing Rumsfeld and appointing him?
It’s time for decent people to vacant the military and either force the government to ban homosexuals outright or reinstate a draft.
