Nineteen of 20 U.S. residents celebrate Christmas, including 80 percent of non-Christians...
A majority of those surveyed said their celebrations include religious activities, with 62 percent going to church on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, 65 percent including religious symbols in their decorations and 78 percent saying they take some time to reflect on Christ's birth.

Well, thank you Old Testament type person! :)
And the same to your and yours and Happy H as well! (lol. didn't wanna butcher the spelling)
Godspeed
Merry Christmas from a non-religious agnostic!
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all and happy birthday, Jesus.
Tell that to the Fundamental atheists who have us whispering Merry Christmas rather than Happy Holidays soas not to offend. But yes he is the most important person since his gift was forgiveness and salvation from ourselves.
Merry Christmas
If you mean "hear", then you are looking in the wrong place. I have never, and will never complain about being oppressed (well, that is until the Mexicans take over the U.S. and I really AM oppressed). That is a lib thing.
I wasn't trying to start an argument or an insult-fest. I was just trying to let you know that we (atheists) are not all a bunch of whacko lib idiots that, as you say, can't breathe when we see a Christmas tree and want everyone to bow to our beliefs. If there was a war between the whacko lib atheists and the Christians, I would join up with the Christians. As I said, it is a big part of the American culture, and I will always respect it. I believe in freedom. Believe whatever you want to believe, and don't try to force your beliefs on others (i.e. whacko Muzzies).
We're on the same side. Relax.
“So, who ARE the people who are so offended?”
MSM
They really seem to be the only ones. And professional offendenati. No regular people I know care. They all wish each other Merry Christmas, a few wish me Happy Holidays, but don’t get concerned when I come back with Merry Christmas (I think the ones who wish m Happy Holidays do so out of a concern for giving offense since they have been told by the media that some people might be offended by a Merry Christmas). My feeling is that if someone is offended and tells me they are I will tell them that I meant no offense and only intend to wish them good things, and if they are offended by that I’m sorry for them. If they press the issue my answer wold be that perhaps they need to seek help since no words I say, wishing them good things could possibly give them injury.
Who’s trying to force their beliefs on anyone. Glad you’re offended for your religion just like us Christians are every day of our lives. Now you see what it’s like since you are a protected victim group.
Merry Christmas
95% of Americans observe Christmas, and the other 5% were let across the border or admitted pursuant to immigration diversity policies.
I am not offended when my Jewish friends wish me Happy Hanukkah, would not be offended if someone wished me Happy Kwanza, or Ramadan, or anything else. If someone is offended when I wish them Merry Christmas, they have something wrong with them. I am not asking them to celebrate my beliefs, I am only wishing good things for them. BTW my Jewish friend just sent me an email wishing me Merry Christmas and telling me she was glad we were friends. None of the Jewish people I actually know ever seem to have an issue with Christmas or Easter or anything else. So, who ARE the people who are so offended?
Sad to say, my guess is that you don’t live in LA or NYC ...
Merry Christmas!
