Female bomber kills 45 at food center in Pakistan

KHAR, Pakistan – A burqa-clad female suicide bomber in Pakistan lobbed hand grenades, then detonated her explosive belt among a crowd at an aid center Saturday, killing at least 45 people in militants' latest strike against the authorities' control over the key tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

Police believed it was the first time Islamic militants have sent a woman to carry out a suicide attack in Pakistan, where the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan against al-Qaida and the Taliban insurgents continues to spill over despite Islamabad's repeated claims of victory on its side of the porous border.

The bomber, dressed in the head-to-toe burqa robes that women commonly wear Pakistan and Afghanistan, was challenged by police at a check point, officials said.

She then charged toward a group of 300 people lined up outside the food aid distribution center in the town of Khar, tossing two hand grenades before blowing herself up. . . .

The schism provides a great opening for the West. We should put out propaganda that our troops are there to help end intra-Moslem violence and interfaith violence. We should lift the gag order on our troops about sharing their faith.

Instead we oversaw the adopting of a Mohammedan constitution and punish our troops for explaining Christianity and giving away Bibles. When only one-side stands for a faith (they not us) it makes for a lop-sided situation. Back in the '60s the West had more influence on Afghanistan that we do today. Back in the '60s we were not ashamed of who we were.

Actually, the 72 virgins that martys get aren’t deceased human females. They’re houris (spirits specifically created by God for this purpose) and have the interesting property of “revirginating” after each bout without requiring surgical intervention. I’m unclear what the attraction of “popping the cherry” on an houri you’ve done a few dozen or hundred times before is supposed to be.

I’m not sure Mohammed ever stated what faithful human females were rewarded with in the afterlife. I doubt it was a big issue for him.
