Islamic Supremacists Envision a Takeover of the Internet
The American Thinker ^ | December 28, 2010 | Pamela Geller

Posted on 12/28/2010 3:35:41 AM PST by Scanian

It was hardly noticed at the time, but its consequences could be catastrophic. Late last September, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which assigns internet domain names, approved a huge change in the way it operates. Europe and North America will now have five seats on its Board of Directors, instead of ten, and a new "Arab States" region will have five seats as well.

How big a deal is this? ICANN at the same time took a reference to "terrorism" out of its Draft Applicant Guidebook. Why? Because Arab groups complained. And so now jihad terror websites can grow and prosper, as ICANN has removed its own ability to police them.

This has been a long time coming.

Back in October 2009, I warned of a seismic transformation in internet regulation and free speech. Under the transnational-happy Obama administration, the U.S. relinquished control of the net at that time. ICANN ended its agreement with the U.S. government.

If not America, who? Now we know the answer to that. The new agreement gave other countries (including dictatorships and rogue nations) and the U.N. the ability to set internet use policies. At the time, I wrote, "[W]atch for Sharia law to find its way into this."

Well, that didn't take long. The ICANN action in September gave the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and other unfriendly nations a prominent internet role -- something they never could get during the administration of George W. Bush.

News analyst Daniel Greenfield explains:

"The OIC has already effectively used the UN to push its censorship agenda. But the UN is virtually toothless when it comes to the United States. However if the Muslim world can dominate ICANN the way it dominates the UN General Assembly, then free speech on the internet is dead."

“Arab States?” At least they’re upfront with this. Islam is nothing but an Arab-supremacist political cult that, like Hitler’s racial supremacy cult, had religious and ritual trappings. It is an absolutist political system that is in complete conflict with all Western political systems and seeks to crush and destroy them in its will to power.

And power for what? For a mob of slavering, beetle-browed, stinking, shrieking primitives, led by cold, evil, cruel cultists in turbans. What fools we are.

I am currently reading “Islamic Jihad” by M.A. Khan. Khan delves into early Islam in detail. Any objective person studying the subject would feel compelled to conclude that Mo and his band of early muzzies were nothing but a gang of bloodthirsty, Jew-hating, murdering brigands who played at “religion” in order to give their slaughter of resistive people some sort of “divine” rationale.

And nothing about them has changed one bit.

That's exactly what Islam was all about.

Article- “Imam of Proposed Park 51 Mosque to Go on US Speaking Tour”

http://en.alukah.net/World_Muslims/0/371/

“Despite opposition to the Islamic center, the imam is viewed as a moderate Muslim sponsored by the U.S. State Department to travel on behalf of the United States, tempering extreme positions in the interest of world peace.”

I say NO to “Park 51”...and whatever my reasons happen to be, I’m labeled as an extremist?

See how that works?

Just to remove any lingering doubt, read about the “will of Allah” done by Mo’s army against the Jewish inhabitants of Banu Qurayza(Arabia):

Some 850 captives were brought into the market place in Mohammed’s presence in front of a trench. They were lined up in before the trench, decapitated with swords, and their mutilated bodies shoved into the trench.

The spectacle took hours to finish and continued into the night by torchlight. A real muzzie bloodfest.

Some Jews consider the atrocity the “orginal holocaust.” Even a pro-Muslim apologist like Karen Armstrong was shocked into revulsion when she learned about it.

It goes without saying that the likes of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranians would love to have a repeat performance of the massacre in every town and city in Israel.

Its all about death to America....death to the great satan!
from a previous posting, see second last paragraph...

..current policy from the white house.....the marginalization and destruction of America.

His drive against America is demonstrated in his unfettered support of the OIC driven “UN”.

Obama , culturally never was an American as he carries many chips on his shoulder and as we see from his old culture at many levels. He feels for his Kenyan identity, he feels for his muslim identity, and he feels his angst against white and America....

On top of it, Obama is a Muslim wanabe or Wahabe, I call him a ghazi.

Be wary, wary aware ....and wary, wary afraid...get prepared for more creeping sharia...more than what is coming out of the White House today

ICANN does not control content or access, it’s responsible for coordinating the sub-organizations which do things such as assuring the IP addresses and domain names are unique.

This is not a process that can be “controlled” by any one country. No one can “own” an IP address or domain name in a physical sense and there is no way to “force” anyone to abide by such standards, so arrangements to prevent duplications and similar conflicts *have* to be created and sustained by means of voluntary international cooperation.

ICANN does have committees (for example a Security & Stability Advisory Committee) which conduct studies and issue reports and recommendations, but implementation of the recommendations is voluntary - they have to be, as there is no way to “enforce” such recommendations.

If a country wishes to ignore some of these recommendations, or even chooses to implement procedures which run counter to them, these is no way anyone can stop them from doing so. However, the further you stray from the standards, the lower your interoperability, and if for example someone decided to start “issuing” their own duplicate IP addresses, everyone else would filter out their traffic.

A very rough functional analogy would be the aircraft registration under the Convention on International Civil Aviation, which provides for assigning a unique identifier (a registration or “tail number”) to each civilian aircraft world-wide. No government can be forced to comply with this regulation (at least within their own airspace), but your aircraft will not be allowed landing rights elsewhere without one.

As larger and larger proportion of internet uses have been located outside the US ICANN has moved to address a number of issues related to this migration, the most significant change has been to allow entire domain names in scripts that are not based on Latin letters - from a technical standpoint it would have been simpler to restrict then to a Latin script, but from a usability standpoint it would have been the equivalent of requiring US domain names to be composed of Japanese characters because the majority of original internet users had been located in Japan.

Similarly, from a technical standpoint it would have been more convenient if the US had continued to be the majority internet user and standards maker, but of the worlds current 2B internet users, only around 250M are in the US - and given those numbers it was inevitable that other stakeholders would demand greater representation.

Note though that no one (other than a national government) could force a user in a Latin Script country to use a Cyrillic domain name, any more than the US government could force a Chinese user to select one in Latin script.

Perhaps some governments will attempt to restrict allowable domain names, or require “allah-the-great-and-mercifully” in every domain name, or something.

But that’s their citizens’ problem, not ours.

It has to start on the individual level, then it becomes a matter of segregation and laws against Sharia in communities.

If ever was the absolute need for individual vigilantism against a common enemy is the war against the assimilation by Islam.

Federal protection has already surrendered, is occupied and breeding more enemy combatants. Defunding is a start, just like putting out a fire all you have to do is remove part of the triangle, cut off the fuel, the air or its heats source and it will die.

I don’t see where Islam intends to assimilate itself anywhere but to and with itself.

It is us who fight against the population’s assimilation
to Islam against our free will. We fight against the jihad which seeks to establish an Islamic caliphate.
