You make excellent points, and I don’t feel jumped on at all.
I would point out that you are arguing with what Gore actually said, rather than the “I invented the internet” quote. (And quite well, I might add.)
The reason I take issue with people who make the “Al Gore invented the internet” crack is because there is enough that can be said against Al Gore without embellishing things. Your post on this thread is evidence of that.
Just to make sure I get out of this thread with my conservative bona fides intact, let me point out that I believe George Bush won the 200 election fair and square and that global warming is a bunch of hooey. And I didn’t buy the iced tea defense for a minute!!
