Why Tampa? Why NOT Atlanta? Or why not anywhere else...
ping - why Tampa and not Atlanta?
Because Savannah INTL changed theirs in 2009.
...for what a National Geographic News report described as a gradual shift of the Earth's magnetic pole at nearly 40 miles a year toward Russia because of magnetic changes in the core of the planet.

Ah, a voice of reason finally.
As an electrical engineer with my specialty being RF, who is also a pilot, this is something that crosses my mind every time I enter controlled airspace.....
Um, might wanna get a new calendar... ;-)

Well, at least those old-fashioned “valves” have a few advantages.
Here’s what comes to mind, in approximate order of importance from high to low:
1. If you live in a northern clime, they help keep you warm in winter.
2. Some musicians think they make guitar amplifiers sound better.
3. Some audiophiles prefer them for their “hi-fi” equipment.
4. They don’t contribute to depletion of the world supplies of gallium arsenide, silicon carbide and germanium.
5. They offer partial protection against EMP.
So let’s not complain too much!
