A viral video vaulted Ted Williams and his golden voice to fame, but the real hero of this story is the woman he left behind. Patricia Kirtley raised four daughters alone after Williams split 23 years ago and dove down the rabbit hole of drugs. Not only that, Kirtley took in the baby boy the radioman had with another woman and raised him as her own. Oh, and by the way, she's partially blind.

Good voice - check.
Never had a real job - check.
I expect she’ll be wanting some of his new paycheck. Another heartwarming liberal handout gone awry.

That’s what alcohol and drugs will do to a person, hopefully now he will continue on the right path, and help his family as he will be able to, stay clean and keep GOD in his life...

“Turns out?” What does that mean? Was he Disney movie homeless? Hardly.
Drugs, booze, and rock bottom - was everyone fooling themselves that he didn’t hurt others on the way down? That’s all part and parcel in the downward spiral.

It seems the talent scouts know how to crank out new “boy bands” as well as they crank out new “former homeless” talents.
Well lets hope the guy makes it right with his kids...but then it never ceases to amaze me the ol’ x-wives come out of the closet when there’s money to be had...and the sob story with it. In the end we all pay for these peoples mistakes one way or another. Maybe this story will have a better ending then most...and matters will be settled fairly between them. I have many doubts.

Are you kidding me? Did no one expect some nasty wreckage in his past? Are you people that naive about alcohol and drug addiction? What did you think, this was just Arthur(Dudley Moore) with a suntan?
Figures. I knew something had to be up with this story since the msm seemed to be spending soooooo much quality time on this guy. Do they ever do an investigation of anything or anyone they are reporting on???
I dunno, when I first heard this story it reminded me of the whole, engineered Susan Boyle story on Britain’s Got Talant. Then his mother lost him at the airport, and my heart really went out to the woman. Now this. The smartest thing Patricia Kirtley can do is to SUE his cavalier bum for everything he gets from that fat contract he just signed. An inability to pay is no excuse, according to a defrocked former judge I once knew. Get him for every single year he was too busy partying to pay.
