He’s 87. Get well soon, Mr. Dole!
It’s kind of ironic that he’s being admitted into Walter Reed, when he was appointed co-chair of a commission in 2007 to look into problems there....

I always liked Mr. Dole just, not as President.
Godspeed Sen. Dole.
Great WWII vet and anti-communist.
A bit RINOish at times and a disconcerting Lebron James-like habit of referring to himself in the third person.
Best wishes, Bob.

The 87-year-old Russell native spent 10 months at Walter Reed last year after suffering pneumonia three times following knee surgery in February. He left the facility in mid-November. I didn't know that he had gone home.

Boy, I hate to start this reply out in a negative, but I never wanted either Bob Dole or John McCain as my president.
That said, I CANNOT BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the hate these two men received from the left.
Bob Dole lost the use of his arm in WWII, and John McCain was tortured for years in Vietnam and to this day cannot button his shirt or tie his tie.
Yet the left desires to have us embrace the: ‘disabled’ all the while working to destroy these valiant heroes.
God speed to you, Bob Dole, we pray for your quick recovery - you are a fine man.

Best to the former Senators Dole.
NC needs to get Hagan out in 2014.
I still can't believe he was the nominee in '96. I hope the GOP make it harder for Obama to win a second term.
