Do you think the tone of the political debate in this country contribute to the tragedy in Arizona?
The Morning Call ^

Implied in this question is the notion of only Conservatives involved in agitprop, not of liberals (How many times have we heard obama's quote in the past few days?: "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun"). Nada.

Freep away.

No.

The guy told us he was being controlled by the government through grammar. It's not the tone, it's the grammar. And....

It's Obama's fault

Libs are about anything but personal responsibility. It is par for the course for them to blame other people and circustances when things go wrong.

I think it is counterproductive to even participate in these polls. When you participate in a poll like this, you lend credence to the premise.

I say ignore it. Give the MSM all the rope they need to hang themselves.

(I suppose that kind of statement will soon be banned).

I belief he was a nut job just like the one who shot Reagan.
And that is all.

I have to wonder why his My Space page was immediately yanked along with any and all information about him.

This was just like the photos and captions of the Virginia Tech shooter hanging out with Muslims. The msm stayed the H away from THAT!

I voted NO... if they had offered “decades long liberal rhetoric and propaganda”... I would have voted YES!

Maybe this wouldn't have happened if the Sheriff had investigated more gay, pot smoking, liberal extremists... Let's put that question up for comment...

The local morning show is talking about this subject and some (obviously a black) lady called in and was talking about the heated rhetoric in the current political debates. She mentioned the 2nd amendment comment by Sharon Angle.

One of the hosts asked her if this comment:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”

May have had anything to do with the nutcase going off last Saturday. She said “Probably did, and whoever used should not have said something like that”.

Then the host said it was zero's comment on the campaign trail. He also gave her several of the other comments zero made, and all of a sudden, “Click”.

So, PC kills more people.
Can’t investigate Hasan ‘cuz he’s Muslim, can’t investigate Loughner ‘cuz he’s a homo.

People die.

1. A lot of people want a political civil war. They won’t start it, but are holding a big wad of kindling and looking for a spark - which some nut job _will_ supply.

2. Given enough politicians, angry citizens, and time, some nut job _will_ attempt assassination.

Rare, yet inevitable.

If heated rhetoric caused people to do this sort of thing we would have blood in the streets every day. The truth is, we don’t. Normal people are able to understand the difference between angry words and real violence. Anyone who can’t is suspect, so I have concern about the people who are writing such drivel. Perhaps we should be investigating them.

Myspace doesn’t want the bad publicity nor undue traffic.

There may be “no such thing as bad publicity” but you have to know how to handle it.

If rhetoric is responsible for the Arizona massacre then by the same logic, Jodi Foster is responsible for the assassination attempt of Ronald Reagan.

The Left is doing its best to make it seem so. They have all but forgotten or ignored the victims.

Actually, I do find in the aftermath of the assassination of the conservative federal judge in Tuscon, the Party propaganda ministry (formerly known as "the press") has reached a turning point. Here's the new Mantra:

It's George W. Bush's Sara Palin's fault
