Well written and very well delivered (I watched it). She was wise to wait until today. I hope this is getting play on the networks.

I don’t want to engage in partisan rhetoric, but I believe she just stole Mr. Obama’s thunder if he planned on using this tradegy to make points with the public the way Mr. Clinton did in 1995 after the OKC bombing.

I couldn't agree more. The left-wing media described this as a turning point for her. They meant it for wrong, but once again; she has twisted what they meant for evil into a strength. This is Presidential leadership on display, imo.

I’m not a Palin fan (not a detractor either), so I can be unbiased here. I think she looked and sounded “presidential.” To use a sports metaphor, she knocked it out of the park.

Appropriate comments at the appropriate time and delivered in the appropriate way. Doesn’t get better than that.

Agreed. Also, I don’t think the left did themselves any favors coming out and screaming that Sarah had blood on her hands. I think it probably galvanized her resolve.

This speech was delivered looking straight into the camera with no notes. It’s doubtful there was a TeleprompTer. She had the inflections of a person delivering a memorized speech, which she is very capable of. The tone and delivery was presidential. Ten out of ten.
