The nation's first gay museum opening in San Francisco's Castro district showcases a variety of items ranging from Harvey Milk's pink-framed sunglasses to manuscripts and sex toys.

The 1,600-square-foot museum, opening Wednesday, chronicles the evolution of what organizers call the liberation of the gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Milk's sunglasses displayed in the GLBT History Museum are a tribute to the late San Francisco supervisor, who was the first elected openly gay politician in California.

I hope it’s directly above a major fault line or sinkhole.

My how far we’ve fallen as a nation.

Sna Francisco is in serious danger of a lot more than another earthquake. I think its pushing a fire and brimstone from heaven a al Sodom and Gomorrha exhibition from God.

What a perverted place.

***Is there a corner in the lobby where people can poop?***

That would be in the “Scat” gallery.

It's legal porn; it will make a fortune. In fact, I think they're slipping. I can't imagine why this hasn't been done already.

Maybe something good will come of this (pun intended). Heck, wouldn't this be the appropriate venue for some of Robert Mapelthorpe's steamier photos of Arnold? It might serve as an object lesson for aspiring politicians! (yeah, that's "pun intended" too)

Just down the street is the Nose Pickers’ and Booger Eaters’ Museum. And it’s cleaner.

Just when you think society can’t get any more crazy, it does.

GLBT Historical Society executive director Paul Boneberg...

You really can't make this stuff up. The Love That Dare Not Speak its Name still cannot find a way to just shut up.

Is Obama going to walk down the pink carpet and cut the rainbow ribbon?

Probably smells of sh*t in there.

I hope they don’t sell packed fudge in the gift shop?

2. 3d ass fisting video.

3. The “AIDS is our Disease” wall of heroes.

4. Bug Chasing 101.

5. How to have government pay for your anti-AIDS drugs free.

6. A closet with an open door.

7. The “2 Dads or 2 Moms are better than a mom and dad” exhibit.

8. The blindfolded sensory game, “Guess what’s in your mouth.”

9. The first copy of the re-made “Dick and Jane” classic, “Dick In Joe.”

I forgot the largest exhibit.

10. THe main hall that shows all the fruits, vegetables, appliances, animals, and other inanimate objects queers and lesbians have shoved up themselves for pleasure.

There are notable gays like Alan Turing who are appropriate subjects for a museum but including sex toys? I don’t think I’ll ever be visiting their museum.

It looks like they're a private museum. Levi Strauss is a sponsor according to the museum website.

Since the leftist California legislature is trying their hardest to push homo-indoctrination on children, it’s a good bet that this will be a prime field trip destination for area schools. Count on it.

It will be a “Harvey Milk Day” excursion.
