Excellent idea, it lends der Fuehrer’s SOTU the dignity and validity it deserves.
Realistically he could skip it altogether since the Constitution requires it to be reported “from time to time”.
These people get nuttier by the day. The GOP needs to be against everything and anything the Dems propose. GRIDLOCK! GRIDLOCK! GRIDLOCK! Having Obama on vacation and the Congress in Gridlock is a good thing for all of us.
The Dems are terrified. There is no other reason to try and mix the Dems among the Reps....
It only so that when Dems rise and clap it will look as though the ENTIRE Chamber is rising and clapping.

Yep. As I understand for generations the President would only send a statement. I don’t remember when, but I believe that the public SOTU speech is a “modern” concept.

Nonsense ... all they are trying to do is eliminate any chance of a camera shot showing libs cheering and a whole lot of republicans sitting on their hands.
