we have that Senator out West, Johnson (something or other) who had a stroke what four or five years ago and I feel there is a lot there that we don't know!!! and he continues to hold office and keep his seat...now remember, he is a Democrat....
again...TERM LIMITS ARE A MUST!!!!
So does this mean Town Hall meetings are now outlawed? Should citizens who stand up and question their representatives expect a visit from the FBI???

If you're right, then her injuries were not as proclaimed. Since, just after Obama left the room, he claims, "she opened her eyes." So his claim is, he, the great Obama was the divine intervention.
Hold on, I gotta hurl. Okay, back. Now, more to the point. Her injury may not have been as proclaimed. Shot thru the brain?
I've asked this before. So, I will ask again. Who returns to normalcy after being shot thru the brain?

Actually, I haven’t had much time as most here to follow this story...but what I did see and found rather odd was an interview with two doctors who were almost giddy recalling the possibility that their patient might open her eyes just in time for the President. Shock and awe, I tell ya....they seemed delighted it actually happened.
Considering all the talk of late about this specific incident, I found this ‘after-the-fact’ interview to be more than strange.

Doc said the surgery was like getting shot in the head, and looking at the reports of Gifford's wounds, maybe more traumatic than her’s. He did open his eye and move some a few days after the surgery.
But the biggest thing is that there will be some major effects of the wounds. In short, her brain wiring is going to be all messed for a long time. She might, might, be able to resume her duties in a year.

Maybe he was just looking for answers that he didn't get in the meeting. Many pols seem to get touchy if you are not asking them questions in an approved meeting hall.
We need to document these cases where it appears that the elected officials are using FBI intimidation to silence those who may be guilty only of asking uncomfortable questions.
The elected officials have every right to ask for investigations of individuals where an actual threat has been made. It is a fine line they walk.
Is their job more dangerous than one of our fighting men/women in the military? Is it more dangerous than a cop?
They make a pretty good pay check compared to the latter 2, We can NOT afford more security for them all.

I know Billy Long, he is not one to jump to conclusions and he is a big guy not someone that would be cowering against a bully. This guy must be some kind of a nut job OR maybe the staff was scared of him.
Billy Long has a heart of gold and will stop and talk to anyone. Prayers out to Billy, his staff and beautiful family.
That Lopez interview just had me shaking my head in disgust!! And I never heard any retractions later. She DID completely sound patronizing.
And I forgot about the father's comment --- it was hit after hit toward us (those of us who had spent over a year protesting her policies, peacefully, never one incident of anything!!). He was only echoing his daughter's incessant drum-beating about how we are "the mob" with "swastikas." And she probably told her parents worse stuff privately over the last few years. I remember them coming to various events and sitting in the front.
