No media outlet in the United States has reported that Ashley Turton, found dead in a burning car in her driveway last Monday, had worked for Nancy Pelosi as a "Special Assistant" when Pelosi took office in 2007.
I don't know how they could have missed it.

So she walked out with the secret info and got killed. Would not doubt that one.

No doubt Fox can really make this into a big story! This could be another Vince Foster story. Is Issa going to investigate? He could really drag Pelosi, her staff, and Turton’s family through the mud so badly they’ll want to flee the country.
Of course, speculation is cheap. What the story needs is both Motive and Opportunity to make it truly damning. So what’s the woman been doing for the past 4 years? Why did she have to be eliminated now? How many other “Special Assistants” did Pelosi have at the time?

YIKES, look at that salary...sheesh no wonder our taxes are so high.

My first thought is - $70K for 9-months work, hey it's great if you can get it, right?
It is VERY strange this wasn't mentioned by either Pelosi's office or the media. You might think that if you're a politician who had a recent employee who met his/her demise in a very public way, you might issue a public statement of condolence. She didn't. That's strange, in and of itself.

strange lack of updates on the case
By now they should know the cause of death- unless toxicology tests are pending
I would suspect a domestic or neigborhood crime, a truly freak accident, or an unfortunate and potentially scandalous personal episode gone wrong, before
thinking of political intrigue ...
Unless she was messing with the wrong people, she seems to be a fairly ordinary run-of-the mill political lobbyist and there are gazillions of her in DC

What a surprise, the media missed something on the RAT side of the aisle. I am truly shocked that this could happen.
They seem so alert this week with the rally (funeral) & all. I guess they need an R next to their name to be exposed.
