Americans View Sarah Palin as More Sincere and Believable After Watching Speech (Focus Group)

A new national study among 1,437 self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents revealed that Americans indicated that Sarah Palin was more sincere and believable after viewing her speech in response to the shootings in Tucson.
The study was conducted during January 13-14 by HCD Research and reported on its MediaCurves.com® website, to obtain Americans perceptions of Sarah Palin after viewing a video of a speech she gave in response to the shootings in Tucson.
Respondents were asked to rate Sarah Palin on a scale from 1-7 regarding likeability, believability and sincerity, with 1 representing not at all strong in this attribute and 7 representing extremely strong in this attribute.
With the exception of likeability among Democrats, Palins attribute ratings increased among all parties after viewing her speech. The most notable increase was her sincerity ratings, which increased from 2.62 to 2.69 among Democrats, from 5.25 to 5.45 among Republicans and from 3.68 to 3.85 among Independents.
Here is the raw data. 81% of Republicans and 56% of independents concluded that the speech will help her image and 78% of Republicans and 54% of independents concluded that the speech will help her in a potential presidential run.

Palin has done op-eds and will do more as issues arise. She has been right on target with economic analysis and on energy she is more knowledgeable than anyone in Washington today. On foreign policy she is a defense hawk, and that is the most essential thing a president needs to be. On lesser isssues of diplomacy and foreign policy she knows as much as any other candidate, and including the current usurper.

I always thought that she would be the next President out of the bunch currently on the list of potentials - she has too much dynamics about her that separates her from the rest of the pack; having said that I do believe that this event ( Tucson shooting libel )has altered and opened the eyes of many sitting on the fence and that this could the moment that things start to break in her favor

Gov. Palin is learning how to communicate with the public, without the media filter and interference. She can say what she wants on Facebook, release a video on YouTube, all without buying airtime on an alphabet channel, nor being interrogated by hostile journalists with their confused face reaction shots. There will be plenty of time for those encounters when the time is right, but for now, Gov. Palin is taking charge of her image and her quotes and people can see what she's about without the media telling us what she's about... Well said.

Friend, if you truly would like to learn more of the truth about Sarah Palin, here is a link that will help quite a bit. In the intervening time since she was a VP candidate she has grown even more and matured. But she is still the decent, godly, truthful, courageous, no-baloney person who endeared herself to us originally; to us, the real Americans who make this country work.

If the US is so lucky to have her run and win, we will have again been blessed by the God who "protects babies, drunks, and the United States". And I have NEVER even thought that about any other potential candidate, not even Reagan. She "GETS IT", as to what the US was and can be again. NONE of the other potential candidates come anywhere near her level of understanding of the "zeitgeist" of the US.

Just yesterday I read a report of a “Republican operative” on National TV declaring that this speech ended any presidential hopes she might have....she needs more advisors, she needs someone to mediate her straight talk, blah, blah, blah...all I can say these "enlightened" folks don't have their fingers on the pulse of average American citizens...
