This is Cook County politics. Here in Illinois the voters are the abused spouse and our politicians the abuser.

We always come back for more.

He’s put away the hatchet and is using the scalpel. The patient bleeds either way.

As soon as I heard someone float that POS idea about sitting together, I fired off a letter to my congressman and said no way because doing that would be tantamount to agreeing that what happened in Tucson was a result of political commentary. It was the result of a nut, a lefty one at that. Furthermore, this is where (.)bama is going, he is trying to brand himself as the great arbitrator now, after 2 years of being dictatorial. He cannot run on the economy, energy prices, inflation on food stuffs, housing, foreign policy, or any other hard issue. He is dealing in a nebulous platform built on “civility”, just as nebulous as was hope and change in 08.

Piss off you socialist POS. “Play nice”? You shot that horse years ago starting with “Reagan is a dunce”. You call for nice while you and your flacks still use inflammatory rhetoric. No more playing nice; conservatives are going to play the game by the rules of engagement your side uses, so enjoy.

Reap what you’ve sown Democrats- for 8 long years the dems venom was on full display during the Bush years, but nowe that their beloved messiah has become president they want everyone ‘to play nice’? (While of course continuing to spew their venom toward the Repubs)

This is the most imature administration ever- their incessant whining about EVERYTHING is beyond the pale- they spit in our eye time and time again, foist their brand of socialism down our throats against the will of the people- tell us to shut up and ‘let them work’, ignore our desires, call out SEIU THUGS to ‘deal witrh the dissidents,’ refuse to meet with the very people who elected them to office in the first place, refuse to be held accountable for their acts of treason against this country, but yet, when some begins to spit back at them, they run behind obama’s skirt and whine about how mean the right is- it’s like dealign with spoiled rotten children?

‘Play nicely’ Democrats? Go pound sand- infact, stay right in your wee little sandboxes, and let the grownups take over to run this country and put things right again- You’ve proven you dems aren’t capable of maturely running this country

Yep. And remember, “never let a crisis go to waste”.

He also knows he can count on the electorate forgetting all the stuff that has come out of his mouth, because he’s said so much, who can remember it all? Him and his little teleprompter.

Meanwhile a barrel of oil is reaching $100. The EPA is trying to band mining in West Virgina. He is opening restrictions with Cuba.

We’ve seen up front and personal like what a disaster can be created from voting in an unqualified, narcissistic, socialist thug.

Hopefully, America will NEVER make that same mistake again.

Don't worry. If America makes the same mistake again, then in a short time there won't be an America left.

A barrel of oil is reaching $100, and people wonder why wholesale prices have been inching up.

He is failing in the polls and is not a successful President so this is an order not to dare scream he is a liar when he is nor boo him. But much worse all must stand and applaud every word he says.

He has used a tragedy to be King, campaign and falsely act like he is a sudden uniter when he is a dictator.

"As business resumes," he said, "I look forward to working together in that same spirit of common cause with members of Congress from both parties - because before we are Democrats or Republicans, we are Americans."

Uh-huh.

Already, there are some signs that lawmakers might be a little nicer to one another following their common brush with tragedy. Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) on Wednesday led a call for an end to the tradition of self-segregated seating by party during Obama's coming State of the Union addressP>Good idea.

They can pick each other's pockets for a change.

When he had the congress, it was all “I won,” ... now he wants to play nice.

Why am I so skeptical?

Yes, I notice he didn’t mention that it was his party doing the blood libeling.

Also gave that idiot sheriff a photo op and special handshake as I understand it.
