For some reason this brings to mind the study about teens being more interested in self esteem than sex these days. When self esteem seems to be tied to conforming to the liberal line, its a bad thing.
Kind of like when they told me that all “normal” kids had homosexual feelings back in my 1980s sex ed classes. Fortunately we grew up quickly in the country and didn’t buy it.
Why is it that every time we win we get snookered by this kind of fascist malarky?

Is there someone on FR who can distill these things into small words to send to our supposedly wise congresscritters. Anyone know? This would have to at the standards, plain-language 8th grade Federal guidelines.

Over years of government conferences and/or what ever I have experienced the Delphi technique being used. I always recognized the ‘facilitator’ scam but didn’t know it had a more basic name. Not having this in my education courses, I assume it is a poly sci or sociology thing. It is this deviousness of government this Nation is now going through.

I have been in my field for 30+ years, so when the locals formed a Meth Task Force, and didn’t notify me of it, I knew something was odd. At one meeting when I attended, the group was going to rename themselves Drug Task Force. This was because meth problem had been curtailed in our small county.
I simply asked where the figures came from and specifically asked the drug counselors if they had seen the curb in meth use. None had.
A local county commissioner moved to close the meeting. When noone seconded his motion, he got up, put his coat on and left. All eyes were on him. I never did find out what the agenda was that I had interupted.
I still laugh about it when I tell it around town.

Use of the Internet short circuits these techniques, which is why the Internet seems so conservative, relative to the rest of the country. The fact is that the Internet IS the country, and reason why 70% or 80% can be against something like illegal immigration (yet nothing is done) is because of these tactics.
It is CRITICAL that people understand this stuff - so at least the liberals are less effective.
This is good- very good. I have actually seen this used in college classrooms, but didn’t know what it was.
