OK, if Obamacare is a Constitutional right, then why opppose its repeal and why did the Democrats waste a year (and all their political capital) and sacrifice their majority in the house, getting it passed?
If the “right” to government controlled healthcare and mandated purchase of private insurance is really in the Constitution, legislation is not necessary. Simply file a lawsuit and the SCOTUS will rule it the law of the land(with the constructionists, Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito leading the way).

You are correct about the commerce clause being abused. However, what Jackson is saying goes way beyond the normal abuse of it. She seems to be saying that the commerce clause not only allows Congress to impose government run healthcare and the insurance mandate, but that it REQUIRES it.
My guess is that this idiot is inaccurately parroting the talking points of her fellow Democrats, who, while they either despise or misunderstand the Constitution, at least have some understanding of the issue at hand.

She forgot the 13th Amendment. The one that says we cannot be coerced into signing a contract. Which is what health insurance is.
