Congresswoman Michele Bachmann to Deliver Tea Party's

State of the Union Response - Tuesday

The Tea Party Express (www.TeaPartyExpress.org), one of the largest and most aggressive national tea party groups, is teaming up with new media developers Tea Party HD (www.TeaPartyHD.com) to host Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and broadcast her response to President Obama’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday night.

“Michele Bachmann has always been very supportive of the Tea Party Express, has long stood up for tea party principles of fiscal responsibility, and is truly a ‘Rock Star’ of the movement.  She is a natural voice for We The People, and we’re thrilled to be joining with her to respond to the President’s remarks.  Obama has demonstrated over and over that he still doesn’t get it, and has yet to ” Said Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer.

Good call, that's exactly the way it is going to go down.

It will be live streamed by Tea Party HD.

They are the org that live streamed every event on the last Tea Party Express Tour, TPXIV which ended on election day last year.

They do a fantastic job and are well publicized, therefore it will get a large audience.

I didn’t know Paul Ryan was anti-tea party

The reason I said that is because he was one of the ones that prevented Bachmann from being on a committee in the House, and it was supposedly because of her association with the TPM.

The old guard in the Congress are very afraid to give the new conservative reps much say in the House.

They need to get over themselves, because there is a reason that the House had such a massive turnover last November.

Many still believe that the tea party groups want to form a third party, and a third SOTU speech may reinforce that opinion. If she uses the speech to inform about who tea party people are and why they want Republicans to represent their views, it could be a good thing. We have just been accused of being responsible for a mass murder and many (mostly liberals) have accepted the accusation as true. This is because tea parties have been described by media as violently opposed to the government. We need someone to argue our case or we will stand convicted in the court of public opinion.

What do you want then? For all the millions of Tea Party members to come into a room and all give a speech each in reply to 0bozo’s State of the Union Speech?

The Tea Party needs to be represented in the congress.
She is a Tea Partier. She can form a Tea Party caucus whenever she wants ( as can any other Tea Party member who is in the congress).

Hundreds of Tea Party members have given speeches. She has as much right as any other Tea Party members to give a speech. When did anyone make you the final arbiter of who can or can't give a speech espousing Tea Party principles then?

Going by your nonsense, no one should ever make any speeches for the Tea Party. All Tea Party members should all just shut up and let the loony left media slander then, yes?

Rep. Lamar Smith of TX is chairman of House Judiciary, replacing John Conyers. He is a member of Michelle’s Tea Party Caucus. I’m certain other important members are also Tea Partiers.
