Lenin’s quote is correct. That is why the ChiComs crack down on their capitalists who work against greater Chinese interests. While we salute our capitalist who offshore jobs and increase their stock valuation this way

Americans were so stupid we gave enormous tax breaks to Toyota and Nissan to set up shop here. I was appalled at the time. States and counties competed in giveaways to bring a Nissan or Toyota factory to their turf

The Communist Chinese are up in the White House playing death to America tunes, while America applauds

Yes, yes, but what about all those great deals on Walmart Communist Chinese products?

Stupid is an understatement...People in places like Tennessee swooned, begged and kissed the butts of foreigners so they'd build one of their plants in their backyard...

America was once the manufacturing mega-powerhouse of the world...Now we beg and bribe foreigners for jobs

Disgusting

We were winning the baseball game 13-3 and we decided to send in our worst pitchers ... Who were actually (bought and paid for) whores disguised as Trade Representatives
At least when we let Japan screw us they were a Cold War ally and that's how we kept Japan, Korea, Taiwan loyal to us. By allowing them to dump product into our markets

But China is no kind of ally but we have saps and sellouts who try to position them this way. Of course all the above nations were going to play catch up but we did everything to help them.

What do Toyota and Nissan have to do with China?

Full Disclosure: notice that the countries we kicked the sh*t out of in WW II often give us less trouble nowadays than our erstwhile "allies"...

Cheers!

If Dems understood the concept of losing face, this would be a national slap in the face... As is, Obama probably thought it was a cute tune...

he still has family in China, he might have performed a propagandist piece under duress...

If sufficient furore arises over this, he may end up the fall guy, though. Communism is like that, it will flip on a dime and bite the hand that has been feeding it.

Here is the "YouTube" of the song, from the 1956 anti-American, pro-North Korean (Korean War) black and white Chinese movie at that time:

If I found out about this, and I were in charge, a bill would be submitted to Congress the next day ending MFN and imposing 40 percent tariffs on all chinese imports (to make up for the undervalued Yuan).

Then I’d submit another bill with humongous spending cuts, cause if we pass the first one, the Red Chinese ain’t gonna buy our bonds no mo’.

Oh, and I’d repeal the Carter-era EO against assassinations of foreign officials. They probably laugh at us about that one as well.

He played Tchaikovsky at Lincoln Center on New Years Eve. A very compelling and gifted pianist for his age, 28. Too bad he's turned out to be a smartass chinaman and a tireless self promoter. Has a nice website at langlang.com if you want to join the party. He lives in New York and is quite the UN animal.

All the above have to do with free trade, trade deficits, and Americans not manufacturing for themselves. Instead abdicating
