So obviously O Sr. got his leis from a digital artist. Your info is much appreciated - I’ll convey it to the author of the analysis. It’s a useful addition. Thx.

. . . . Pinging again, check out Polarik's analysis at # 848 , then read to end of this thread for new information. - Also check out # 855 by Brown Deer. Interesting thought there.

Thanks, Natural Born 54.

“Frank Marshall Davis had four daughters. Maybe there was something going on between Stanley Armour and one of them.”

Helen Canfield married Frank Marshall Davis 1947. They had five children, four daughters and a son. If zero was born in 1961 and their eldest child was a daughter who was born in 1948 (for example) she would have been how old when...do the math.

Their son Mark was born in 1950.

Here's a left and right "flip face" of the supposed "flip face" woman, original at bottom:

Aside from the hair, you can see that the eyes and eyeborws are different. That the cheeks are different is obvious in the original.

Are any of these people alive to interview? Do we know who they are?

It is certainly odd that Barack Obama senior is the only person wearing a complete suit when everyone else is wearing short sleeve shirts.

Nothing unusual there. In that era people dressed up when traveling. The women, except for giraffe neck, appear to be dressed nicely and in heals as well. It was called ettiquette, which we don't have now days.

I'm not buying most of the dissections.

You make a good point about the suit. However, I do believe the head was stuck on that body and the leis are fake. Plus there are a bunch of other things there which your eyes tell you are true (unarmed). Even if you disagree with half of what is in the analysis, the remaining points we can all see with our own eyes make this photo a fake.

It’s not easy demonstrating some of the things he’s pointed out. I’ll give you one example. The lady in the black dress in the front row, middle. The reason he knows that part of the dress was painted on is the neckline is a crisp straight line. That doesn’t occur naturally. The fact that it doesn’t occur naturally is not some rule written down somewhere that I can point to... it’s something one comes to know by looking and working with a lot of images. I have worked with a lot of images so I can identify with that point, though I certainly cannot claim to have the type of experience Polarik has. That one, though, I can endorse.

I should have said a crisp, straight line doesn’t happen with a neckline, even one that is squared off like hers.

One more thing I’d like to add. This photo is all over the internet. When someone posts it, we have no way of knowing how many times it has been saved from an internet page by the time we see it. Each time a jpeg is saved, the resolution deteriorates. Someone may even have saved it from a screen capture which restricts the shades of black and white to those the screen displays. Either way, there is a loss. That’s a process that contributes to the difficulty of spotting a forged digital image. The person or persons who created it and the many other photos floating around out there are well aware of this fact.

if you enlarge the image, you will see the sleeve fabric doesn't match the jacket. I think in the original the man wearing the false lei had his arm around the man he is standing next to. The fabric of the coat is still visible. That long arm belongs to someone else...they just didn't get the balance right... Similar reason the man on the right in the floral shirt has no arm. They needed that for 'Stanley Armour Dunham' whose arm was obscured. But of course...that isn't/wasn't Stanley Armour. (IMO) But if it was, then there's a good chance the man with the lei might have been Frank Marshall Davis, going somewhere - OR the image was taken in 1964 when the brother of Malcom X met a ship of The Black Star Line, and posed with the captain and crew... In which case all the Hawaii stuff is definitely superflous and included to deceive us. I better stop. What I really want to know, WHO IS THE YOUNG WOMAN?
