Mike Pence, Michele Bachmann attend anti-abortion events

Rep. Mike Pence addressed the anti-abortion March for Life on Monday, Rep. Michele Bachmann is set to keynote the event’s dinner tonight, and former Sen. Rick Santorum joined marchers in the cold—the only three potential Republican 2012 presidential hopefuls to appear at the annual gathering.

“Our economy is struggling and our national government is awash in a sea of debt. Amidst these struggles, some would have us focus our energies on jobs and spending,” Pence, an Indiana Republican, told the thousands of activists who gathered in Washington to march to the Supreme Court to protest the 38th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. “We must not remain silent when great moral battles are being waged.”

Where was TOTUS? Does he not represent all Americans? Did he have anything to say? Just comments. I remember GWB talking to the crowd via a video cam.

Since I don’t think they should even be able to vote, what makes you think I’d want one as CIC.

Good to see Pence, Bachmann and Santorum physically there and not ashamed to march.

Romney’s words of “support” were so lame as to flirt with insincerity.

I have marched in a few of these.

I always felt like a stepchild when the President “phoned in” his encouragement, but couldn’t travel half a mile to offer encouragement in person.

Nope. Wouldn’t be prudent.

Anyway, God bless everyone who marched today. We have endured a holocaust ten times larger than the one the Nazis perpetrated upon the Jews in WW2.

Amazingly, God holds back His hand of judgment on America.

For that we are thankful, and must continue to work to rid our land of this murder of innocents.

I believe there are more pro lifers in this country than not.

Abortion is legalized murder.

Late term abortion is disgustingly cruel.

Abortion among blacks is high and therefore may even be considered a form of genocide.

Furthermore, liberals who are also Catholics who support abortion should be excommunicated and that includes liberal members of Congress.

“Since I don’t think they should even be able to vote, what makes you think I’d want one as CIC.” -pissant

“If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.” -Ann Coulter

Not that I’m advocating it, but Coulter does have a point there. Even my wife agrees, and she is no wallflower.

Was there a counter rally? If so, I am sure he was there.

That's an awful slippery slope. What next? The suffrage of blacks? Hispanics? Christians? Gun-owners? Obese?

No, next would be the youth. No more 18 year-old’s voting unless they are in the military.

Then would be the non-taxpayers. Only those who pay taxes should be able to vote.

But regarding women, as I said, I’m not advocating revoking the right of women to vote. But I do see some benefits.

That was my thought. March for Life covers more than just being opposed to abortion.

I posted this link early this morning. It didn’t get much response but I think it is an important tool in changing hearts and minds about abortion.

Romney’s words of “support” were so lame as to flirt with insincerity.

Do you not know that Mon. - Wed. - Fri. - and Sun. are his pro-abortion days? He is solidly pro-life on Tues. - Thur. - and Sat.
