Celebrity journalist Mike Evans told Minnesota's KQRS radio last week that his friend, Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, has been unable to find President Barack Obama's birth certificate despite an intensive search.
A group of conspiracy theorists known as "birthers" have long claimed that Obama is constitutionally ineligible for the presidency because he was actually born in Kenya. Abercrombie, an old friend of Obama's family, made headlines last month when he announced that he was trying to figure out how he could release more explicit documentation of the president's birth in order to permanently defuse the issue before the 2012 elections. He quickly abandoned his search, however, due to state laws that prevent private documents from being revealed.

The risk is very high for them if they try to pass off forgeries to states who require Obama to get on election ballots. The scrutiny level is going to be off the charts. If they get caught, big time jail sentences would follow for the Obama administration.

The reason why a birth certificate matters is to prosecute all the fraud that has been committed by legions of obstructionist who conspired with Obama in this Mother of All Deceptions. They need to pay for their deliberate criminal acts.

I think you may have meant for your post to be for someone else on this thread. Another poster may have said that this coversation never took place, but not me. I heard Evans say it clearly on You-tube.

I have to agree. This is why the whole darned file needs to be released. But Obama will resign I believe before that happens.
The Youtube video has gone Viral, its almost 93 thousand views, and Evans is spinning and backtracking as fast as he can. But the cat is out of the bag now, and the spotlight is on and hot. The MORE public attention this receives, the HARDER it will be for OholyO to duck it. The pressure will mount and something will have to give. What that will be is hard to say.
Starting with Nancy Pelosi, the person most responsible for Obama getting the DNC Nomination. She certified Obama FOR the state of Hawaii, that right there is illegal and unconstitutional.

Go to the KHOW station and listen to Peter Boyle’s interview with Evans. I agree that something is odd. How can someone misspeak about having a recent conversation. I understand that recollections about a conversation can vary. I do not see how one would have a false memory about a recent conversation.
Its called spin control, backtracking, and or disavowing an earlier statment.
Evans likely got a couple irate calls last night.

Talk about an UBER CYA! OMG! There is no way Evans mis-spoke. he knew what he was saying in his interview. The story on fox..... yea, thats nothing but spin control, aimed at people who did not listen to the actual interview he gave.
Evans is trying to erase it, but its too late, its gone Viral.
He says he left a message at the Governor’s office. But look at the transcript of his earlier interview. He says something about “talking with him in his office”... Evans says this call to the Gov office is the first time he’s tried to make contact or been in contact with Abercrombie since the interview right after the inauguration. So when was he talking with him in his office?
Peter Boyles interviewed him, and Jerome Corsi was on with him too. They gave him a bunch of questions to ask him when (if. lol) he talks with Abercrombie again - because Abercrombie’s claims are refuted by SAD’s educational records.
Discrepancies all over the place. Everything Abercrombie has touched has discrepancies plastered all over it. He contradicts the HDOH, himself (the first time he saw was Obama was playing T-ball v he saw Barry with SAD and BHO at social events as a baby), a supposed letter from Obama to Kapiolani Hospital, and the records for SAD.
Rather than JUST asking to see the birth certificate, people need to be saying we need an investigation of what Abercrombie knew and when.
Funny that not one doctor, nurse, candy striper (1961), etc has come forward and said “I was there.”
Come on. I have never been a birther. But it is so obvious something is up.
Don’t you think the lib media would have put an end to this a long time ago. How hard would it be for NBC to do a special segment on Nightly News or something, interview hospital, doctor, nurses, etc....
This is why they fear Palin, IMO. She will make it an issue - along with Wright et al. Romney will be McCainesque.

A celebrity journalist now claims he misspoke when he said last week that Hawaii’s governor told him he was unable to find President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate after a search of state and hospital archives.
Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.
Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:
“Yesterday, talking to Neil’s office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii.”
But that’s no longer Evans’ story.

Last week’s radio interview was part of Evans’ syndicated five-minute feature, “On the Road with Mike Evans,” which is broadcast on 34 stations across the country each morning.
On the morning of Jan. 20, Evans says he accidentally told one of those radio stations — KQRS — that he’d spoken directly with Gov. Abercrombie about the Obama birth certificate.
“I was on 34 radio stations that morning. That was the only station where I said, instead of saying ‘the hospital said there’s no birth certificate’ I misspoke and said Neil said that,” Evans said. “I misspoke and I apologize for that. I apologize to Neil.”
Abercrombie’s spokeswoman did not respond to Fox News e-mail and phone requests for comment.
Evans says he first noticed the story on Jan. 18, when he was reading an online article with the headline, “Hawaii governor can’t find Obama birth certificate.” The article cites an interview with a former Honolulu elections clerk who says records of Obama’s birth could not be found at either Honolulu hospital.
“Halfway down the story it said the long form certificate was not on file at the two hospitals,” Evans said. “It says the hospitals say there’s no birth certificate and says Neil says he couldn’t find it.”
Evans said he continued reading other reports online, including one that quotes a former Honolulu election official as saying no hospital has been able to find Obama’s original long form birth certificate.
Evans says he then placed a call to Abercrombie’s office in Hawaii to follow up on the reports.
“I called Neil, but Neil never called me back,” Evans told Fox News. “I haven’t talked to Neil since he’s been governor.”
In 2008, the Obama campaign provided a certification of live birth — a shorter form document that bears the same legal weight as the more detailed original certificate of live birth — to prove his eligibility to be president. That has not quelled calls by those who have asked for the president’s original, longer form birth certificate, which they maintain would more clearly prove his status as a natural-born American citizen.
The U.S. Constitution stipulates that only “a natural-born citizen,” or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of the President.”
Perhaps I got it ... Mike Evans is denying he ever had this conversation with Neil Abercrombie.
