Call to arms re SSS records and Obama

I have recently been intrigued by the controversy over Obama's SSS registation. While there are a lot of questions, it is the only real document that we have to work with that has been released. I think a lot of the questions could be resolved (or more created) if we could actually compare his released document with some others. For the life of me I cannot find any others on the internet from the same period. I recently wrote the source of Debbies article (link in my comment) with the following;

I recently explored your article shared on Debbie Schlussel's site regarding Obama's Fm 1. It got me to thinking about finding other's who may have applied at the same time and I scoured the internet trying to locate any other SSS Fm 1's for the same period or any period for that matter. I couldn't find any, maybe my search terms were not good for finding any. So, then I thought, well maybe other politicians have theirs, but could not find any of those either. I don't know how to make successful FOIA requests, but apprently you do. What if some requests were made of some others that were born around the same period, and better, applied at the about the same time as Obama, and even better yet applied in Hawaii as he did. I read all the assumptions that are made regarding the rules about how a form should look, but nothing would be better than actually having some to compare against from the same time that were filed. What do you think and how could I help? Don't stop on this as it only confirms the other areas in which his credentials are very suspect.

Maybe some of you could request your SSS registrations from 1980 and beyond, you know just for research purposes.

Here is the way to request your info...

Records of registrants who were born on or after January 1, 1960

Registration Card: Shows a registrant's name, date of birth, home address, phone number, social security number, and Selective Service registration number.

How to Obtain a Copy: The requester must be the registrant himself, or show written permission from the registrant, or provide proof that the registrant is deceased. A caller may verify that a man is registered and/or obtain a registrant's Selective Service number and the date he registered by calling Selective Service at 847-688-6888 and providing the registrant's social security number and date of birth. The information may also be obtained by writing to:

Thanks for this info. The SSS automated phone number was surprisingly helpful. I was able to verify my date of registration (6-14-85), my SSS number (which is nowhere close to obama’s), and the last address they had for me (1993), but I couldn’t order a copy because their office is closed for the weekend.

Actually, the Zer0 forgery that was released was dated, I believe 2007, and appeared to contain the same backgrond anomalies of his “sisters” same form; although she was clearly born elsewhere.

So I think that your search for historic documents will lead no-where, as we don’t have any real historical documents from Zer0 to compare to other 1960’s historical records.

I have no idea what you are talking about 2007? Did you read the post? There is nothing about this until 2008. We are talking about his Selective Service System Registration which was released in 2008 and I am trying to help establish if it is a forgery or not by comparing some actual SSSR’s from the same period with a released copy of his from the govt. Read the article at Schlussel’s site with address given earlier to help.

Question: Does every citizen have to register? I have no recollection of having done that, though it may have simply faded from memory. Born in ‘66 if that has any bearing on the issue.

Carter started SS registration July 2, 1980.

I should have signed up the same month as Soebarkah, July of 1980. I clearly remember walking to the post office, signing the papers and promising myself I would kill as many Iranians as humanly possible if I was called to war. In fact, I can still remember standing in the post office, filling out the form and handing it to the clerk. (I was very, very, pissed off at both Carter and the Iranians.)

I will request my documents tomorrow. I'll redact my personal info and share. I hope I find some big differences.

Thanks for the reply. I remember My Dad reminding me to go do it, and then walking to the post office, cursing Jimmy Carter to hell and spitting nails the whole way to the post office.

I found this explanation from an SSS Director on the internet search, but will withhold judgement till I get my forms:

Dear Mr. :

Facts will never trump speculation by conspiracy theorists. But the reality is the following:

a. The 10-character Document Locator Number (DLN) was placed on Selective Service Registration Forms beginning prior to the establishment of our current Data Management Center on 31 August 1981.

b. Prior to 1981, the DLN configuration was different from what is used today.

c. At that time when Mr. Obama registered, the first three characters (089) indicated that the form was keyed in by one of the contract keying centers – in this case 089 equated to the Internal Revenue Service.

d. Later, an 11th digit was added to the DLN just prior to Y2K to differentiate another decade.

Thus, the first three characters of the DLN do NOT represent the year the form was keyed into the SSS registrant database, despite what some may hold dear.
