The house needs to start issuing subpoenas and scheduling hearings into the way this bill was rammed through. Not only was it inethical, there may be criminal aspects to this as well. Get the public good and fired up before the senate and the scotus has to take up the issue. Perhaps a few indictments and an impeachment over Zerocare could impact the courts opinion. Either way, a congressional investigation is needed just to shed light on the dirty back room deals that went on to get Zero’s tax grab plan passed.

I disagree. Maintain the offensive against Obama Care on ALL FRONTS.

No respite for the wicked charlatans.

I agree -no half measures. Kill it dead.

And if we can’t repeal it, we must defund it.

No funds, no implementation.

We can cut off funding if we want to. Do it.

All the idiot talking heads said Joe would have to vote with the Republicans most of the time if he wanted to keep his job. He ran as a moderate/conservative against cap and trade, and said he would not be a rubber stamp for the Kenyan Usurper. I figured it was a lie, and he'd roll as soon as he crossed the beltway. Maybe he's actually keeping his promise?

A reliable source, that Schumer....

Senator Schumer's 3 Branches Of Govt: House, Senate, & President

The fact that this comes from a senior senator is frightening.

Six months ago, the psychologists and social workers across the street from us were getting ready to close their offices — no patients. Now, with Obamacare in place for their patients, they are MOBBED.

Your tax money at work.

Don’t we all already know that the votes aren’t there? The point is to have a vote to force Democrats to vote yes or no to the repeal and use that as a talking point as they come up for re-election in 2012 and beyond. Of course, same thing for any Republicans that dare vote no to repeal.

Of course, would it not be great if there ended up being 60 votes for repeal? Now, the would produce some real entertainment.

That’s true, that makes it a mute point, doesn’t it. Doesn’t that mean that it isn’t really a law at this point, or at least it’s in some sort of judicial limbo?

"Redundant...until the administration requests a stay on Vinson's decision from the Appellate court, so that they can continue their implementation."

What informed opinion does anyone have that an Appellate stay on this decision would not be almost automatic?
~~~~~~~~~~~
To repeat my post (in which I failed to repost Freeper TruthShallSetYouFree's salient comment}:
I'm all for redundancy. Rule it unconstitutional, repeal it, defund it, whatever it takes. It's like killing a snake. Chop it up into a thousand pieces, fill it full of lead, burn it, and bury the ashes.
No amount of redundancy will satisfy me against the perfidy and chicanery of this government....
~~~~~~~~~~~

To which I said to TruthShallSetYouFree:

Rush Limbaugh said the same today...but, you nailed it more eloquently. :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~
This bill has to DIE (by all means at our disposal). The thoroughness of the Fla Federal judge's decision is a great victory.
But, the Obama administration has proven that it is untethered from any moral or legal restraint to abide by the Constitution --- by actions and by words.
Obamacare is the essential bill necessary to implement national socialism/fascism. And even then (assuming it is killed)... with the RINO repubs, we have an uphill battle.
I believe that this nightmare needs to get to the Supreme Court of the United States ASAP.... immediately.
I'm much less giddy with excitement today.
I would like to see Kagan recuse herself before SCOTUS takes the case...but, that would leave 8 and that could be a total waste of time if they split 4-4, depending on which case gets there first...
Sigh.
if he supports repeal, I may have to break my vow never to vote for a democrat and support him.
However, I doubt he will have the guts.
“The house needs to start issuing subpoenas and scheduling hearings into the way this bill was rammed through.”
You are so right. Nancy Pelosi isn't funny to me; she and her band of ignorant, arrogant bullies stole something very precious from Americans — confidence that the will of the people will prevail. We aren't sure anymore.
Well then Senators we will know who to oust in 2012 if you vote against the people so keep that in mind.
Ok so then those that voted for it before they voted against it look like idiots.
We could blame the whole thing on their one mistake of a vote. I don’t think voting against it now (if they voted for it previously) will save them.
