Last week on his show Bill O’Reilly asked, “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” and then said he had a call into me. I appreciate the question.
As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming:
“In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”
“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”
I can hear him saying this in his pompous yet droning voice....
Al Gore is mentally disturbed. Period.
Mr.irrelevant finally comes out of hiding to make a damn fool out of himself.
When is he going to be prosecuted for fraud?

Well it’s consistent with that movie where US residents have to flee to Mexico - whatever its name was . . .
And he saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of stupid.
And the blizzards, floods and other climate phenomena BEFORE modern times were caused by.....?
Gore seems to be showing some measure of desperation here. When “global warming” donations dry up, he’s going to have to get a real job. The guy likely consumes enough groceries in a week to feed Latvia.
And when snowfall suddenly drops in a couple years, will that be explained by Global Warming too?
Remember, this is the same crowd that said the extra warmth caused Katrina and that huge hurricane season we had a few years back. And then nothing, not a highly destructive hurricane for years. Suddenly, global warming has nothing to do with hurricane activity.
Except that it can't. Also the models have predicted warmer winter (more positive Arctic Oscillation). This year and last we have had negative AO, a natural phenomenon.
It has all along. The catastrophists are now playing cards they don't have (warm causes cold). It is their last gasp of desperation as they lose the political battle.
Hard to tell from “The Onion”.
The real question for Algore is this, “Is there ANY type of weather (cold, warm, wet, dry) that would indicate that your predictions are wrong?”
That is what needs to be asked.
I nominate the above for post of the year...
The Global Warming two-step:
1) “We in the environmental movement have determined that the extremely (hot,cold,wet,dry) weather has been caused by global warming.”
2) “Give us your money.”
I had the misfortune of hearing Gore speak in person in La Crosse, Wisconsin when he ran for prez in 2000. The jokes about him being a wooden speaker are no jokes. He’s awful.

On a planet 70% covered in water already, how much more water vapor can man add to the atmosphere?
