Covering the melee in Cairo as an American journalist has taken a turn for the worse in the last 24 hours. In addition to the dangers of reporting from an area where the government has failed to ensure basic safety, an alleged pro-Hosni Mubarak mob has infiltrated the protests and is turning violent on protesters and western journalists. Ashley Webster, the overseas market editor for the Fox Business Network, is the latest to face the threats from the pro-Mubarak demonstrators. On Monday, around 10 a.m. Eastern time, Webster tweeted the following:

I suspect some Muslim Brotherhood radicals have infiltrated the “Pro-Mubarak” demonstrators and are going to visit some heavy violence on westerners...simply for easily digested propaganda purposes. Anderson Cooper was just a taste of things to come.
I don’t believe anything these “journalists” are posting including Anderson Cooper’s “beating.” They are all liars but expect them to have Obama saving Egypt. This will be the headline.

Notice they are saying it is pro-Murbarak’s people who are doing the threatening. I don’t know for sure who it is, but, surely, it can’t be the peace-loving anti-government people.

Drudge had a link to a live web news feed with Al Jeezzera (yuck) and the Egyptian Army were keeping people separated. It is not a big deal.
But.. Obama has instructed Egyptian security forces to avoid a violent response, which btw is often necessary to 'ensure basic safety' where large protests are concerned.
And at least the writers were honest enough to call the nasties "alleged" Mubarak supporters.

Seems like they were merrily broadcasting images from the balcony, and the security forces wanted them to stop, because they would be a magnet for anyone looking to stir up trouble.
“You idiots, stop broadcasting from here, they will see it on television and come here and kill us!” is what the security people would be sayinf to the reporters.
