Agreed. That was my first thought.
Politicians and bureaucrats of all flavors hate sunlight. The media used to ferret out corruption. Now they work in partnership not to uncover corruption but to promote political divide. It's money in their pockets. Billions are now spent on elections and most goes to media. We'd be better off with raw news instead of having it filtered through media and pundits.

Since Obama wants Mubarak out it cannot be in our national interest. Removing him will produce nearly as much chaos as when another doofus, Jimmah, had the Shah of Iran step down.
When the Moslem Brotherhood removes him they take one more step toward control of Egypt, control of the Suez Canal, and control of oil traffic to Europe. Get ready to pay >$5 per gallon for gas. Then Saudi Arabia will come under pressure from the same forces - Islamic terrorists. At that point things are going to get VERY interesting indeed.
