While many on the Left continue to deny any danger in Sharia, every week more women and children are persecuted under Islamic law all over the world. Sadly the only way to find out about these sad stories is through international papers or blogs like NRB. We have heard stories of death for adultery in the past, but this week there was a case so beyond the pale that even some mainstream media picked up on it.
Late in the night last Sunday, in a village in Bangladesh, a 40 year old married man (Mahbub) abducted his 14 year old cousin and raped her. While being dragged and then raped, the girl (Hena) cried out for help from the village. But instead of punishing the rapist, Muslim leaders accused her of adultery. She was reportedly beaten by Mahbubs family and then forced to face a Sharia court the next day. That court sentenced a fatwa proclaiming little Hena must face 100 lashes from a bamboo cane and the rapist was only given a financial penalty for his part (though the local authorities would later claim he was supposed to be whipped too).
Hena was given no chance to appeal. The same day the fatwa (recently fatwas were made illegal in Bangladesh) was issued, it was carried out. Hena was forced to take strike after strike after strike of that cane. Somewhere between 70-80 lashes she collapsed. The girl was then taken to the hospital where she died from the wounds inflicted by the Sharia court.

Deliver us from evil, Lord Jesus.
You are permitted slaves.
SLAVES!
The arabic word for slave is the same as for black.
Ban the queeran!!!!
Once again, Mohammedans prove that theirs is NOT a religion, but a cult of hate. This barbarity is the norm for the followers of a goat-humping pedophile.
May their “72 virgins”, look like Helen Thomas, sound like Roseanne Barr and have the body of Rosie O’Donnell.
Again, and again, and again... This people will only stop this shit when they become beheaded themselves.
Barbarians are barbarians, no way to turn it over. Islam is a decease, Islam is the EVIL itself.
A precious 14 year old girl, beaten to death by those who should have protected her.
No doubt they shouted Allah Akbar after she died. This religion of Islam is the poison of hatred. It must be removed from the earth. There's no getting around it. It is the essence of evil.
exactly correct. it is the religion itself. not a “tiny minority” who misunderstand their OWN religion.
All is clear in the Quran and hadiths. (but the west is mislead by taquiyya. they never tell the west, that “abrogation” erases most of the “nice” verses they quote...)
Robert Spencer’s books are a wonderful education on this.
Dear God. How could they do this??? Even IF this poor girl were guilty of having willing sex this is astonishing “punishment” but to torture and murder her for being raped by force what on EARTH do these animals have in place of hearts and consciences?
“Diversity is our strenght”
Oh! But these clerics were not moderates, they were Radicals. Bull****.
What a great religion for men. Rape whoever youlike, pay a ten dollar fine and watch as clerics beat the raped girl to death. Where are the NOW girls and Medea Benjamin?
Michelle the fat lady is trying to tell us how to feed our kids, but not speaking one word about kids being sold to their Uncles in marriage and raped by their cousins and killed for it.
Ah yes the very religion our own government desires to install
or hope to encourage in America. Heard a Lady on talk Radio who says she is former law enforcement -and now does the speaking circuit teaching how much Shariah has already infested our jurisprudence here in America. How many honor killings are punished? How much abuse -or rapes done by the
spawn of Allah? tink about it.
The Lord tried. The people told him to go fly a kite.
OnNovember 4, 2008 the majority of the voting public in the United States declared, via their votes, obams was their messiah and savior.
I'm truly surprised that this hasn't occurred yet.
Islam is patently evil. This incident puts Muslims below feral animals. Probably the first article on FR that I stopped reading because the story was so disturbing and sick...
Note that this happened in Bangladesh....not necessarily a Muslim theocratic state.
It is time to get real about Islam. Political correctness towards this cult is a threat to all
Diversity is our strenght
Diversity is Latin for “white people suck” ;-)
As attributed to British General and Administrator, General Sir Charles James Napier, Order of the Bath (August, 10, 1782 August 29, 1853), when he was approached by local dignitaries wishing to continue this custom; "You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; [then] beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."
I am sure that there are Muslims somewhere that are horrified by this story and the damage that it does to their religion. If they are reading this, I say to them, SPEAK OUT NOW in the blood of this INNOCENT!
RE: where are the moderate Muslims
I saw in another news link there were several “moderates” tsk-tsking about the girl being killed, and wanting to question the girl’s killers. They did not say anything further like, it was wrong to punish her for “adultery.” And none suggested punishing the male rapist for his adultery.
Justice does not exist in this false system!
Well at least when women in the US armed forces were raped or molested complained and reported the crimes against them, they werent killed...not physically...
Just tossed out of the Army, Air Force, Marines etc as “unfit” and emotionally and psychologically abused further by those in authority who should have protected them...
While the crminals went free...
The mindset and laws and policies which govern the treatment of women who are victims of atrocities are not always determined by the type of government a country has...
nor the level of civilization ...
