In the shocking video you are about to watch, Howard Dean declares that it is the job of the government to redistribute our wealth. Not only that, he says it in such a way that indicates that he believes that such a notion should be obvious to anyone with half a brain. Well, while it is true that the United States has become a highly socialized nation, the reality is that this is not what the founding fathers intended. The founders intended for us to live in a land where we would have enough freedom and enough liberty to be able to work hard and enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They did not intend for a gigantic federal government to take huge amounts of money from one group of people and give it to another group of people. In any nation where a large scale redistribution of wealth is happening, the incentive to work goes right out the window. Pretty soon you end up with an entire class of people that have learned how to "make a living" by being a parasite of the government, and that is not good for any economy.
If our founding fathers were alive today, they would be horrified by what we have turned into. In 1816, Thomas Jefferson wrote the following....
To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.

And then we'll go into Michigan, take all the rich folks money...YEAH!
and then we'll go into Indiana, take all the money from the those who have it,redistribute the funds give it to those who need it... YEAH!!
And then on to Illinois. Find Oprah and take the billions she earned on the backs of union labor and give it to those who need it...YEAH!!!........
I’m not shocked.
No reason to be shocked...that from the Chairman of the DNC which vouched for Zer0’s eligibility in ‘08.
No wonder Dean was willing to lie for him-—they both want to “spread the wealth around.”
It’s not shocking. What liberal doesn’t believe this? What conservative doesn’t know that every liberal believes this?
Actually, I appreciate his honesty. Let’s have an open and honest debate on this.
I’d rather have Dean saying “the role of government is redistribution” than Obama saying “I am the new Reagan”.
Every liberal BELIEVES that the role of government is redistribution. That’s what liberalism IS.
And Obama is King of the Redistributionists in America. And he should openly declare his stance on this issue. Like Dean has just done.
Kudos to Dean.
Shame on Obama.
Man up, Obama. Tell the truth.
Hey Howie!
Since you say the wealth needs to be redistributed, could you send me a couple hundred grand?
I gotta few bills to pay.
Has Howard given HIS wealth away yet?
Oh, silly me!
WE are supposed to give OUR wealth away while he gets WEALTHIER off of US.

Ever notice that the dimocrats who are proponents of sharing the wealth are in fact quite wealthy themselves. AND if they believed what they are preaching - they would no longer be wealthy because they would in fact be sharing THEIR wealth.
It’s always someone else’s wealth that they propose to share.
Heck, Hollywood could feed the world if they stopped living in multiple mansions, owning private jets, personal assistants and all the other luxuries they feel they alone deserve.
The Founding Fathers...”did not intend for a gigantic federal government to take huge amounts of money from one group of people and give it to another group of people.”
I am getting more angry about this all the time!!
Americans are (predominantly) Christians and consistently donate to charities for people or groups who find themselves in need. There is NO stigma in accepting assistance from your concerned, generous and sincere brethren but there are only TWO categories of people who ought to get government benefits/assistance:
1. If you are temporarily unable to provide for yourself, FINE!!! Help is (has always been, will always be) available in this country. NO ONE is disputing THAT!!!!!
2. If you are permanently incapacitated (for whatever reason), help is (has always been, will always be) available in this country. NO ONE is disputing THAT!!!!!
HOWEVER where the f&^% is it written that I have to make a gift of myself to the unrelenting demands and to subsidize into perpetuity the lazy, unappreciative, BS lifestyle of perfectly able-bodied losers?????????????
At what point are these parasites meant to stand on their own and step away from the trough????
Is it EVEN considered that only a bare MINIMUM of recipients of government benefits qualify for lifelong assistance and that all the rest are EXPECTED to find their own way, at some point??????
Lets start with YOUR wealth Howie!
You are so right.
They just think we are too dumb to notice.
Or maybe it’s that they think they are so wonderful that we wouldn’t dare criticize them.
No, because it’s written all over your face. :-)
The average household income in the US is about $46,000 a year.
Dean used to be a physician and now is a Democrat Party Grand Poobah, so I think I can safely assume he makes six figures, and has made six figures for at least the last couple of decades.
When he distributes money of his own so that his yearly take is $46,000 a year, let me know - ‘til then, he can blow it out his . . . ear.
Marx, Trotsky, Engels, Lenin, Dean - ideological brothers-in-arms.
Not quite exemplars of the American way, however.
It’s Marx/Lenin/Alinsky/Ayers vs. Jefferson/Franklin/Madison/Paine. May the best men (and ideas) win!
