It was former 3rd Ward alderwoman Dorothy Tillman of Chicago who stated in her motion for reparations for slaves, “ Keep your 40 acres and a mule, We want a Lexus”
Dorothy ‘The Hat’ Tillman was endorsed by Barak Obama in the 2007 Chicago runoff election which she lost.
