The Navy's Inspector General has ruled a junior officer suffered unfair retaliation by his commander after filing harassment charges last year for being nicknamed "fagmeister" and a slew of other anti-gay epithets.
Ensign Steve Crowston filed a harassment claim in February 2010, alleging that Cmdr. Liam Bruen, along with other senior and junior officers, voted in August 2009 to give Crowston the military call sign "Romo's Bitch," a reference to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Crowston says other suggestions included: "Cowboy," "Gay Boy," "Fagmeister," "Cowgirl," "TO," "Terrell Owens" and "Redskins."

“Cowboy,” “Gay Boy,” “Fagmeister,” “Cowgirl,” “TO,” “Terrell Owens” and “Redskins.”
lol.
As God is my witness, I thought all Naval aviators were gay.
Well...at least Tom Cruise was in Top Gun.
“The little faggot with the earring and the makeup
Yeah buddy that’s his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he’s a millionaire”
Dire Straits
And so it begins...
Anyone who can’t handle the epithet “fagmeister” probably couldn’t handle being shot at by the enemy either.
Where do you get that? I knew several NavAir types when I was in the Service, and none of them were queer.
He’s not an aviator.
My thoughts exactly.
Ensign Steve Crowston is a pussy
Well..........

In the Navy
Yep, the coward goes and "files charges" rather than stand up, confront his tormentors, and fight like a ...oh. Nevermind.
Goodbye, effective military. Hello, hand-holding and encounter groups. Fagmeister should be sure to file crimes-against-humanity charges if, when in combat, someone calls him a name he doesn’t like.
Not a good sign.
Nope. If he wasn’t homosexual he’d be screaming it.
I didn’t read the entire article, but I assumed that someone with a call sign would be an aviator. Do submariners or surface warfare officers have call signs in the Navy? What for?
Our call signs in the USAF were usually the squadron, the aircraft’s tail number and our crew position. For Example: I was normally Blade-38 Charlie. Blade=37th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron; 38 - the tail number of our chopper; Charlie=third crew member.
Oh wait....
On the public airways, they edit that song now. Fortunately I have the original CD.
