Ah...heh...heh..heh. Me Like.
Somewhere in heaven, Col. Colt and John Browning are smiling.
Great way to start the morning news! 25millimikes.. wow. Good news for us. Unfortunately, they will resort to hiding behind civilians if walls won’t work.
Awesome!
Look for Hussein to give the blueprints to the Chinese in 5...4...3...
Barry has already forwarded blueprints to Beijing and Moscow.
25 millimeter = 0.984 251 968 5 inch
This is the kind of weapon needed for comprehensive home self-defense.
Lehner said the tests revealed only one problem: The units didnt want to give the Punisher back.
Can’t say as I blame them!!
“Dear Santa Claus...”
How long until the Bad Guys acquire them? it is inevitable that they will. Until then, and thereafter as well, let us hope our soldiers make maximum use of this weapon.
A few bits. The reason they can get away with a 25mm round, is that they use an advanced explosive a lot more powerful than what they used to use in the 40mm grenade round. It is a machinable explosive used in nuclear weapons.
The XM-25 is best used in the offense, because it can quickly clear an entire defensive line, so the advancing soldiers can quickly take over a position. It has a maximum effective range 100m longer than the AK-47, and any retreat from it needs to be out of the line of sight.
For a unit equipped with one or more of these, it does need a complementary defensive weapon in case of a malfunction, to defeat an enemy charge. I would recommend a bush clearer like the AA-12 automatic shotgun, that is devastating at short ranges.
“State-of-the-art bang-bang.”
Cost per round fired must be astronomical. Electronic fused rounds which receive a downloaded detonation time ain’t cheap. They are most likely not going to shelf life very well.
Sweet!
Guessing civilian use, out of the question?
