i fully agree with the young man’s decision not to wrestle a girl. it is plainly inappropriate. i wouldn’t allow a son or daughter to be in such intimate vigorous physical contact with anyone of the opposite sex. this is not being prudish, but a practice of respect, honor, modesty.

any women interested in serious 1 on 1 martial athletic competition should try fencing. its a good cross training choice. & develops mental & physical reflexes, physical memory, & strengthens & tones most of the body. it is very safe.
about spetznaz, martial arts, female self defense,
i agree that women should not be involved in dangerous martial art sparring.
although a woman or man training to toughen up for self defense is a great idea. however one should have a realistic expectation & foreknowledge of possible fatal, debilitative or disfiguring injury in any attack.
as a youth i participated in karate classes, even then some of the practice drills were surprisingly harsh.
altho i never saw anything as serious as spetznaz stated.
1 scenario involved facing an opponent who advanced in forward stance punching as you blocked backing away in forward stance. most of the punches landed mid bicep & not the forearm. i dont remember my opponent’s size, but in an attack if a medium or small build woman were to face a larger & or taller male who got inside her arm’s defensive blocking zone & began to pummel her. it would indeed be likely unrecoverable.
thus for many women it would be simpler to get a conceal carry license, buy a pistol, & train at the range.
a firearm is a force multiplier that far exceeds any amount of training in the martial arts.
yet it is imperative to know that carrying a firearm involves bearing very serious spiritual, ethical, & legal responsibilities one must be very well prepared for in advance. it is not something to be taken lightly.

It is WRONG to harm females and especially for SPORT.
What the hay are HER parents thinking? Yes, the gender blender crowd must be pleased as they spin this in another way.
Yes, “conservatives” piss on me for being totally digested with your interchangeable roles that defy what God intended. This is the LOW that we are at. Having young men wrestle young girls for SPORT. If this isn't like Sodom and Gomorrah, I don't know what is.
All you “conservatives” expecting females to do the job meant for a MALE, this is what you have won. My daughter will NEVER be “combat ready” or believe she is a male. Yet, you’ll hear and see “conservatives PROUD of their females doing a man's job and mocking men. What you don't realize is the LEFT has changed YOU. You now don't know right from wrong. It's all about DEFYING and being PROUD of you DEFYING of what is proper.
Are you any better than Moslems that treat their women like *hit? Moslems treat ALL females like rodents. Here, we give them the CHOICE to be rodents and the crowd CHEERS them on. THINK ABOUT IT. I don't suggest that females be barefoot and pregnant". I do suggest that when it comes to physical strength, forget it. Let the guys DO THEIR JOBS. Wrestling is totally inappropriate for ANY female.

It’s all part of the gender blender mentality. They really don’t want you to believe there ARE differences. They want to abuse females and have males be the abusers. Females have allot to offer but certainly NOT in this way.
You would be surprised at the UGLY attitudes on FR by those that have FEMALES in the military that are IN combat positions. They ARE proud of this and call themselves “conservatives”. Yes, they have them in combat positions and they have them sleeping together etc. too.
Don't feel bad for him.
His mind is NOT on the temporal.
He loves God and is being obedient to Him.
He will be blessed, much more than having a silly state championship trophy. THAT kind of carnal fame is fleeting and meaningless and repulsive to God. This is a WISE young man.
American conservatives need to step up and re-assume the moral high ground, so that our children will grow up and see the difference between immorality and morality.
It is immoral to support things we ourselves would not do, but it is moral to be honest by telling others where we stand.
It is immoral to stay behind one's doors while evil is going on in the street, but it is moral to go outside to stop the evil.
It is immoral to go along with bad ideas just to get along, but it is moral to stand in the way of bad ideas even if it means you will be unpopular.
Regardless of the consequences we must always stand for what is right, because we are the only ones who will. I believe that every conservatives should repeat the following phrase from Edmund Burke every time they are confronted with evil,
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
I think our biggest problem is that there are too many conservatives who are not true Christians. A Christian is to be a light that shines in the dark world so that those in the dark will be able to see the truth.
Then again, we have many Christian conservatives who have taken the light given them by the Lord, and they have hidden their light from shining on the world. Thus good men have stood by way too often as evil triumphed. Now we have those who consider themselves to be conservatives, and even many who call themselves Christian conservatives, that will defend the idea of teen boys wrestling teen girls, while accusing those of us against it to be living in the dark Ages.
God tells us that He is the same today, yesterday, and forever, He does not change. Men do. When it comes social values, I, and I am sure you agree with me, would rather live in the dark Ages because that is where God resides.
Saw him on Fox and Friends this AM and when asked he said there wasn’t a particular verse but just general biblical principles. I thought he was an extremely articulate young man and was very touched by the interview.
