It would be good to get a bunch of those laugh boxes and sit outside their offices to ridicule them when they eventually return.
Hope the Tea Party folks get a pan and a large spoon and then beat on pan until the folks go back to Wisconsin.
If true, then it was all just a stupid publicity stunt...and come to think of it, community organizers and all, that's really the Rats ever do - act out stupid publicity stunts.
The thing I don’t understand about the whole unions issue is why the state can’t just say they will hire whoever agrees to their terms. With unemployment like it is, I doubt they’d have problems finding people who would take their terms. There’s nothing in the law that says they have to hire this or that person, is there?
Is a short bus with Wisconsin plates that common in northern Illinois?

—”Fourteen brave Democrats in the Wisconsin state Senate have fled their state rather than take part in a vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s plan to wipe out collective bargaining rights for public employees. The majority Republicans need at least one Democrat present before they can conduct the vote.
Now that they’ve left the state, should we invite the “Wisconsin 14” to safe haven in Washington state, where Senate Republicans here want to follow the Scott Walker plan?
Senate Republicans introduced three measures (SB 5349, SB 5345 and SB 5347) to wipe out Washington’s state employee collective bargaining, union and contracting out rights.”

This really is funny. It does not appear that they had time to pack bags (unless they knew they were going to do this and planned for it) such that they’re stuck wearing the same clothes and underwear until they go shopping for new ones or have arranged for their delivery. I would think too that a lot of the residents of Wisconsin are saying WTF?

It’d be terrible if they had an accident. Just terrible. Imagine the campaign rally the DNC would have.
