WASHINGTON — The House has approved a Republican proposal to block federal aid for Planned Parenthood. The 240-185 vote on Friday is a victory for anti-abortion forces led by Indiana GOP Rep. Mike Pence. He says taxpayer money should not go to groups that provide or promote abortion. Democrats say Planned Parenthood provides contraception and other valuable family planning services, and that cutting off the money will make it hard for women to get such basic help.

Finally! Washington has heard the voice of the U.S. majority! The American people are going to absolutely love the Republican party for what it's doing. This is the first time they've ever tried to stand up, and the country is cheering them on because of it.
If they keep working for and supporting the tax payers like they are now, the democrat party is toast.
Dems say it is a Bill Of Attainder and will be overthroen by the courts.
Maybe, no such case has made it to the Supreme Court but in an Acorn case the 2nd appelate court ruled that banning funds to it was not a punishment because the funds were less than 10% of it’s funding.
Not sure how well reasoned the opinion was or how large a part of PP overall funding this bill ( I think 300 plus million) rescinds .
I could guess, but the main thing is do defund the murder of the innocent.

I hope they defund NPR/CPB, the NEAs (both of them), the EPA and support for the UN next.
