House blocks fed aid for Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON — The House has approved a Republican proposal to block federal aid for Planned Parenthood. The 240-185 vote on Friday is a victory for anti-abortion forces led by Indiana GOP Rep. Mike Pence. He says taxpayer money should not go to groups that provide or promote abortion. Democrats say Planned Parenthood provides contraception and other valuable family planning services, and that cutting off the money will make it hard for women to get such basic help.

Keeping women’s health programs is one thing. But Planned Parenthood is a typical gov. run organization infested with unreliable liberals who want abortion and alternate lifestyles and continue the liberal agenda of the day. Anything worthwhile can’t be government run. Sorry, facts are facts. Give the private sector the same opportunity and everything will run fine. The government is why Planned Parenthood has to go. If you have noticed, the government ruins just about everything it puts its fingers into.

Ths libs on facebook said it’s either pay for the abortion, or support the kid on welfare. The implied racism in that statement aside, I told them the taxpayers should not be forced to pay for either.

One lib accused me of boiling it down to dollars and cents, another of oversimplifying when I said that it’s easy to care with other people’s money. I think they might defriend me. good.

You haven’t argued with many libs, I can tell.

They NEVER argue based on their real beliefs, because they know that what they support is abhorrent to most decent people.

So, they always bring up “shield” issues or sub-issues.
In order to reduce them to defending the main issue that they know is indefensible (killing near or full term babies for convenience), you _rhetorically_ make consessions on any “hard” cases that they bring up (rape, incest, etc),

and leave them spluttering trying to defend poking scissors in the spines of full term babies.

I agree, MrB. But, I don’t believe in abortion for any terms including incest or rape. I Believe, my God, creates life and only He can destroy it. There are famous people in history who were bastards and products of incest. I know it is tragic, but life is sometimes very tragic. But, one person’s bastard is another person’s little angel.

Planned Parenthood is a billion dollar business that rakes in 1/3 of its budget from state and federal govt grants. Congressional Dems interrogated banking, energy, health insurance, tobacco, and oil execs — treating them like serial killers. PP clinicians apparently covered up sexual abuse of underage teens by falsifying federal documents in order to receive federal funds for performing underage abortions. That would be classified as govt fraud -- using tax funding to aid and abet illegal acts.

You're right... and if all minorities knew the what the main goal of PP was in its inception...they would have put them out of business a long time ago.
