as I understand it, the unions get to bargain for wages and bennies...they wouldn’t be able to demand all workers join the union...they wouldn’t be able to say what days they will work and what days they won’t....now, they tell the school district WHEN they will start the school year and WHEN they will stop the school year...

“Whoever allowed those protestors to run amok in the Capitol and then spend the night, needs to be FIRED.”

I am in full agreement with you.

At this point, getting these protestors out of the Capitol would require a large number of National Guardsmen in full riot equipment. There will be violence.

And you know what?

That’s exactly what the protestors want. It fuels their resolve and give them extra ammunition (ex: a female AFCSME employee who’s 5 month pregnant, claiming that a couple of Guardsmen beat her and sprayed her with Mace - with “collaborating” statements from other Union a-holes who just “happened” to be standing nearby.

In short, this would for the labor movement a modern-day version of Genl Doug MacArthur and the Army breaking up the Bonus Army camp in DC back in the Depression.

I have a better way.

First of all, you lock ALL the bathrooms. Then you shut off the water. No water fountains. You lock the doors - but before you do, you tell everyone inside that no one else will be allowed to enter the building.

No food can be brought in...

No water will be brought in...

We’ll see how long these protestors keep goin once they realize there’s no access to food, water or bathrooms. I suspect that many will voluntarily leave. The hard-core ones that won’t will be arrested for tresspass.

Then again, this does drain union coffers.

There is no reason for the legislature to be locked in their offices. Just go home, and do a conference call.

Also, hire PIs to tract down the democrats, and drag them back.

Here in Michigan there will be a rally Wednesday at Lansing. They are gonna be yelling KEEP 312. Refering to a binding arbitration law the GOP may throw out.

I asked one of them about layoffs and he answered as if well that was something else, they didn’t deal with too much, or some incoherent rational.

Well they better decide which they like best ....arbitration or keeping a job.

The unions love mob rule. That’s all that they know.

I hope and pray that the majority of both houses of the legislature hangs firm.

Everything I’ve seen...including a hastely put together, heavily attended counter protest today...tells me they will.

“Why couldn’t this have been our first black President?”

He might still be.

I’ve been spat on. I was at the Capitol asking Senator Foolsgold for a lousy $30K in fuding for a military program for Wisconsin families during Operation Desert Storm. (Early 90’s)

I was in my Class A’s and some unwashed little college puke, about 19 years old, spit on me, hitting my skirt.

I turned and looked at him and pretty much gutted him with my stare. He turned and ran, LOL!

I would’ve chased him and beat him to a pulp, but I WAS in heels and a skirt and didn’t want to show up disheveled to my ‘audience’ with King Foolsgold, LOL!

(And if you don’t think dealing with HIM was a nauseating experience, you are as wrong as two boys...)

New AFSCME-SEIU Pact to Help More Workers Win Voice at Work

[CLICK] "We have been making history all week and into the weekend. On Saturday, union members and our many friends turned out all over the state to protest the refusal by key Wisconsin leaders to act like leaders." ~~~~~~~~~~

[Feb 22, 2011] "In a show of solidarity, AFSCME and SEIU members are again scheduled to wear "Together We Can!" sticker buttons at work that day. The stickers feature that slogan along with a green (AFSCME) and purple (SEIU) "unity fist bump" logo. Union members also wore the stickers on Feb. 10, which was the opening day of bargaining." [Oregon] State's economic proposals coming Feb. 22; wear your stickers!

Walker for President?

I don’t know his stance on other issues, so I can’t definitively endorse him personally yet, but what do you think Freepers is it too early??

Premature immaculation is never fruitful or satisfying. Let's not.

A young female reporter trying to get into the Senate chamber struggled to get through the crowd. She arrived disheveled and upset because she had been roughed up as she tried to get through...

A senator and his female staffer struggled to get into the capitol. He was worried about his staffer because the crowd was grabbing at her and pushing her.

The public employee unions have been gang raping this country for decades in a way that is very much like the Islamic animals in Cairo gang raped the CBS reporter.

The Left wants to draw comparisons to Cairo? Really?
