Islamist sleeper cells in U.S.--secretly lying in wait

On a tip provided by a concerned American yesterday, information has been discovered indicating a widespread network of radical Islamist sleeper cells in the U.S. that have quietly blended in with communities so as not to arouse suspicion. Evidence indicates that the cells are lying in wait, possibly in order to receive a signal to embark on a simultaneous mission to murder hundreds of citizens.

Several pieces of information from several sources indicate a troublesome scenario.

First, counter-terrorism experts have noted for years that the nation's borders are so shockingly insecure that terrorists would have relatively little trouble gaining entrance into the country, even legally. But what is even more troubling is their cargo--nuclear material in small quantities, so small as to be undetected yet potent enough to make nuclear 'dirty bombs' that could be simultaneously detonated in a dozen U.S. cities. Reports from 2006 indicate the problem, and little has been done in the years since to close the gaping holes in the nation's security at entry points.

Medical and dental offices have radioactive materials that can be used to make “dirty bombs”. No one has to smuggle anything into this country to put one together.

A couple of times in response to the “Bush kept us safe” people, I have said that we have no idea whether Bush kept us safe or not because we have no idea how many terrorists entered our nation legally and illegally during Bush’s eight years. And we have no idea what plans they might have been working on for years, as the 9/11 hijackers prepared for years.

Nothing can be said about who kept us safe since Bush and at least his two predecessors deliberately refused to enforce our borders or our immigration laws beyond some token level for PR purposes.

We don’t know who kept us safe, or not. And it’ll be more years before we can say with any confidence.

The Demorats downplay 9-11! Lest we forget the 3000+ instant victims and their Horrific Deaths and the thousands that have died since! Lets remember that it was a Blessing of GOD that 500,000 or more weren’t Killed on that day! If it was just a little later in the morning those buildings and streets would have been packed, and if the buildings hadn’t withstood the initial impacts and collapsed immediately sideways into the Avenues and Streets, it would have been 10-100 times worse in casualties. There is no doubt in my mind that we have sleeper cells in the United States waiting to strike.

We have had millions of illegals cross our border undetected since 9/11.

Muslim/Arab terrorists have the same access to Mexican coyotes as the Mexican illegals, and the money is just as good to them as coming from a Latino illegal.

Further, if thousands of tons of marijuana, meth, cocaine, etc can get trafficked across our borders undetected by Mexican mafiosas, then so can WMD.

Further, there is plenty of evidence out there that Al Qaeda has recruited Caucasian jihadis who have access to friendly country passports.

I really believe that anybody who thinks we are safer now than before 9/11 is under some serious self-delusions.
