The Obama administrations budget proposal for the 2012 fiscal year drew criticism from virtually every corner of the political spectrum upon its release last week. Republicans, predictably, said the $3.8 trillion budget would spend too much, compared to a proposal released by the House GOP that would spend $3.4 trillion.
The presidents budget would put us squarely on track to double the size of the federal government, Rep. Denny Rehberg said in a Feb. 14 statement. This simply cannot be sustained.

This ought to fly high with the NAACP and lefties
Oh wait, I heard that this was the Republicans doing.... /s =.=
I don’t have trouble with helping out truly poor and starving people a touch.
It’s the endless grants for things like senior centers and tv and such that make me crazy, to the point where people feel entitled to little pleasures.
That’s okay, Obama’s pal Hugo Chavez and that idiot Kennedy whose first name escapes me (one of Robert’s putrid progeny I think) will take up the slack!
Not to worry. The NAACP types enjoy keeping their own on the plantation while lining their own pockets, and the lefties will fall into line one way or another.
Exactly. Reminds me of about 3 years ago, when Charlie Rangle proposed re-instating the draft.
Rangle and the dims knew that the sheeple would not notice the fact that the dims did it, just that W was in the White House when it happened.
With these heating cuts, evidently 0baMao and his ilk have got polling data that shows that all cuts are being blamed on the GOP right now.
You’re thinking of Joe Kennedy and his moronic CITGO commercials. At least NH doesn’t accept his “hep”. We’ve still got a little pride and common sense left. (Oh, and the commercials are misleading as hell, of course.)
The government has no business taking money from one citizen and giving it to another. There is nothing compassionate about it. Charity is voluntary, or else it is theft for a cause. For once, Obama is doing the right thing. I may faint. ;-)
“The level of production needed to sustain a welfare state cannot be sustained by a welfare state.” ~ Richard W. Fulmer
Again I ask: when are Obama and his cohorts in Congress going to make their own personal cuts? I mean, Obama did say we will all have to sacrifice. When are we going to hear about his sacrifices?
Well!Either you die from Obama’s death panels or you die from freezing to death.Which will it be?
Do you remember awhile back there were seniors and low income deaths in Chicago. No heat. The Lefties screamed to high heaven. I guess Obama thinks deaths of “those” people is perfectly ok.
OR
he wants to cause so much suffering that people will be screaming for the FED to step in, and Zero gets reelected for “saving them”.

True. I should have thought of that. He wouldn’t do the right thing without having an angle. *sigh*
I thought this administration was for the poor!
TRANSLATION: They’re going to vote for me anyhow. So I’d rather give this money to unions so they can launder and re-direct it back to my campaign.

Republicans, predictably, said the $3.8 trillion budget would spend too much, compared to a proposal released by the House GOP that would spend $3.4 trillion.
Not impressed with either quite frankly. You are telling me that only 400,000 million is between the two? Really? And Republicans are proud of this?????? Yieks! We are so screwed.
When are we going to hear about his sacrifices?
Hopefully never. Just what we need is the President wearing a sweater again to sacrifice. We were the laughingstock of the World during that time. I would rather him sacrifice real things or nothing at all.
Oh yes, I remember the sweater. Yet another POS president. I don’t know who is worse.
I was hoping for such things as a cut in salary, fewer bashes and lavish vacations, maybe a cut in staff. Yeah, dream on, FNL.
