Regional war could spark "unprecedented climate change," experts predict.
Even a regional nuclear war could spark "unprecedented" global cooling and reduce rainfall for years, according to U.S. government computer models.
Widespread famine and disease would likely follow, experts speculate.
Earth is currently in a long-term warming trend. After a regional nuclear war, though, average global temperatures would drop by 2.25 degrees F (1.25 degrees C) for two to three years afterward, the models suggest.

LOL!
...according to U.S. government computer models.
In other words, according to models whose values for variables are preset according in order to give precisely the outcome desired.
You can get a climate model to dance a polka if you preset the right "assumptions" for variable values.

This is probably the most foolish thing I’ve ever heard, basically, “Experts” are fools today, blinded by thier false “green” religion, even my 13 year old burst out laughing when I showed him the headline, anyone with any common sense knows this is utter nonsense.

Listen Choi, unless you're in a position to tell me who these "experts" are, DON'T BOTHER ME!
Oh, you might let us know when National Geographic abandons questionable advocacy and returns to geography.

Of course all these models that predict global warming or global cooling, etc., are based on millions of assumptions, and most likely many of those assumptions are wrong. All it takes is ONE to invalidate the entire SWAG.

Did he ever actually do any real astronomy? Did he actually advance astronomical knowledge? Or was he just a nice tool for the Sesame Street mentality?

Who would have guessed that Armageddon could be green?Well, they were pushing an article in the last few weeks that Genghis Khan may have cooled the planet by killing hordes of evil human beings who were abusing the planet by growing crops. That must have been to prepare us for this news.
