Actually, this is a revival of the Nuclear Winter scare which predated the Global Warming scare which predated the Climate Change scare which predated the Global Climate Catastrophe scare.I think they see it as a possible solution. Cures global warming and kills of some of those pesky humans at the same time. Win-win!
