Now that's an activity commensurate with his abilities.

If it’s “honey ale”, wouldn’t it then be technically mead and not beer?

I’ll bet not. All of the founding fathers brewed their own. Certainly, Jefferson with his love of plants probably had a little brewery going there.

I agree. I will give him three points in the positive direction out of a possible 1 billion points.

Now that's an activity commensurate with his abilities.Like hell. It's not hard, but you do have to pay attention to what you're doing. I've seen no evidence of his ability to do that.

Ill bet not. All of the founding fathers brewed their own. Certainly, Jefferson with his love of plants probably had a little brewery going there. George Washington's small beer recipe is famous. He also had a distillery at Mount Vernon if I am correct.

Michelle Obama bought the equipment with their own funds Bet she did the taste-testing as well. Ale goes great with ribs.

this and the fact he likes cheeseburgers are the most normal things about this guy

I would have mentioned George, but e didn’t live in the WH. I don’t know if Adams had a garden, or not. Certainly his kinsman, ol’ Sam, is noted for his brew. (LOL)

Home brewed beer my *ss... With barley & hops from the WH garden, right?
Koolaid is more like it.
Suck it, Barry. I’m about as likely to buy this story as anything Ayers put in your auto-bio.

The news sparked a small flurry in the blogosphere given that Obama, who has previously settled friendly bets between world leaders with beers like Goose Island's 312, had not shown a predilection for do-it-yourself beers. Obama settled a World Cup bet last summer with British Prime Minister David Cameron by giving his English counterpart a bottle of 312. And during 2009's so-called "beer summit" with Vice President Joe Biden, Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Massachusetts Police Sgt. James Crowley, Obama drank a Bud Light. OUCH! Big time let down! Points have been retracted.
